Buying 1/10 gold coin is most worst investment ever As soon as you buy one, you lose 1/3 of it's value Because if you purchase right now at $300 you can resell at just above spot which is $200 Please don't do stupid videos like this Comment from : P |

Fractional gold Comment from : Paul Valentine |

Just statted buying silver for the first time Been looking at gold and was intimidated at first as im an only working parent for a family of 3 (Wife and daughter with me included) i dont make alot but i also only get paid every 2 weeks so im looking now at how i can budget to buy gold fractionally The 1-2 gram bars seem enticing Comment from : LongWhite Line |

Good video, I’m buying 1/10 gold coin’s because I’m on a budget, usually I buy 1oz silver coins, but I want some gold now too So I’m doing this and it’s like you said, instead wasting money on fast food or a Starbucks coffee I rather save that and use it for gold, even if under a oz Comment from : From America To Japan |
Doing the same thing Thanks for the encouragement to continue Comment from : The UnEducated Man |

In the past I usually bought none true fractional coins Predominantly Austrian Ducats, Florins and Kronen (crowns) The reason for this was - apart from being European - the far more interesting premiums compared to true fractional coins Sadly premiums rose badly after the start of the pandemic but even premiums for Ducats are very similar to those of quarter ounce coinsbrIt wasn't until a few years ago that I really started to stack one ounce coins In 2023 I shifted my goals back to smaller coins and started to stack British Sovereigns Comment from : Basileios |

Thanks for sharing, your perseverance is contagious I am also sorting out my fractional strategy, so far I am into 5g bars, 20 francs and Sovereigns, but I notice that market supply is irregular and would produce a non regular stack in the future so I am thinking of going into fractional tenth coins Comment from : Lobo Plateado Stacker |
10th oz and quarter oz are the best sizes in my book They don't hurt the wallet much when buying and they are easy to resell privatelly which allows you to get pretty much all of the premium back when selling 1 oz coins might be the best value, but finding a buyer with 2-3K available that will trust you in a private sale will be much more difficult And if you decide to sell to coin shop or bullion dealer, they will offer you spot or less which will be devastating for the value of your stack Just like you, I purchase fractional gold mostly I have some 1 oz bars and coins but most of my gold is smaller, going from 1 gram to half oz in sizes Comment from : Silverholic |
I've only had the budget to get fractionals so far I would love to get a 1 oz gold buffalo one day though Comment from : Stackerfam |
The only limit on my goal is to find the lowest premium gold I got 25 gram last month for 6 over spot I just met this month gold goal, 1/4 1986 AGE for only 6 over premium from my lcs I usually end up with anything but an AGE Thanks for you videos I have quit $6 coffee and frequent trips to fast food to pay for all of this Comment from : Invisible Stacker |
I have been buying 1/4 oz gold coins I find it more affordable than a full ounce The premiums have been around $60 October 2022 was a good month for me Spot was well under $1700 I might start buying 1/10 oz Thanks for sharing your method of buying Comment from : Go4it |

Congrats on your gold purchases SH! I put all my AGE's in capsules (all gold actually) You can get tubes that hold 20 AGE's in capsules (OnFireGuy on Amazon) That's how I store them I don't put my silver in tubes but definitely gold I really like the 1/10 ouncersI know the premiums are higher but easier to buy and they should sell more in the event you need to sell I been trying to get one from every year It gives you something to collect / target Great video! I felt I need some fractional for the hoard I did buy up some 1/10 etc but the premiums are crazy My LCS charged Kitco Spot+ $120 for eagles, + $100 for Maples, Kangaroos etc and ounce but 1/10th was +$45, 1/2 was +$140 so 1oz in tenths would be $450 over spot!!!brbrThey did have a boxed 5pc set of 1/2oz Perth Mint they sold be at the 1oz premium, had to go home and get more cash since I walked in for a single oz that day So end of story I have fractional, now that I have what I feel is necessary I focus on full oz to buy at the lowest cost If an opportunity presents itself I will pick up morebrbrBuying as you can is great, I just like to save my cash till I can purchase a full oz for the lowest premium Silver and Platinum I also feel I have enough at the moment and do not enjoy their high premiums Comment from : West Coast Stacker |
Glad to hear another stacker meeting their goals! As for I plan on buying silver and gold this coming year I wonder if it will be as wild a ride as 2022 has been Who knows, it might be crazier! Comment from : QuickSilver |
I am a fractional gold buyer You made a really good point about the McDonalds drive through Buying gold is achievable even to the person who does not think they can’t afford it Cutting out a few Starbucks coffees, buy one lottery ticket in stead of 10, stop littering and save your bottles to get your 5 cent deposit back I have achieved my goal so far this year and beyond Comment from : Nics Coins |
Nice! There is something about a monthly buy that is exceedingly satisfying A full ozt in 10x 1/10ozt pieces looks really nice I'm mainly a fractional buyer (only 1 exception), but I would like to score another full ozt in the future I'm mostly done buying silver, but I grab little pieces here and there My buying goal was met this year, but I still hope to make one more purchase to check the December box on my spreadsheet Congrats on the achievement! Smash! Comment from : John W |
Seems like it costs more $ to buy 1/10 ounce gold Bastids really sock you with the premiums Ah, to have gold problems At least this show got me motivated to try and grab an ounce of silver each month It really adds up Comment from : mrvax2 |

A few years ago when I first got into stacking gold and silver Money metals exchange had this deal where they were selling an ounce of gold at spot So When I call the guy told me they were selling an ounce of gold at spot except they were all 1/10 gold ounce eagles So I made a deal with the guy and he let me buy five at a time So I made two purchases of a half an ounce of gold each at spot Obviously that deal is no longer there but that's the one time I got some gold at spot Comment from : P WHALES |
