Hey everyone A lot of concern out there that I don’t know my meters-to-feet conversion So let me clarify here: When I say “about 6 feet” etc I’m referring to lengths commonly sold in the US Most HDMI cables are marketed in whole numbers of feet Hope that helps Comment from : Caleb Loves Tech |

Hi, could you possibly point me in the direction of an hdmi aoc 3m for a Hisense 65” qled? My problem is when I watch sports and films that have fast motions it’s like it can’t keep up and does a kind of ghosting or double picture affect, any help would be gratefully appreciated Comment from : Bansai 1983 |

So I have a series x, and a Samsung QN90C TV Sound is completely out of the question bc I always use headsets, but as far as visuals I have no idea if the standard hdmi for the series x will give me the best I can have with that TV or if I should go all out and grab like a photon 48 hdmi Anyone chime in? I have a 2019 lg55c9pua oiled tv it says it has eArc but not sure exactly which version But I have denim receiver that had 21 hdmi ports would it be beneficial to get a 48gbps cord for the eArc port and for my x box series x going into my receiver? Comment from : SlyFox720 Studios |

I thought Every improvement in technology supposed to make it easier, but no every time there is an improvement it becomes more complicated A couple years ago you turn on the tv and it would show whatever is going on, on that channel Now you turn on the tv better make sure you have a phd in tv because you have to click through so much stuff Comment from : Jamiami |

Any chance you can do a video like this on USB-C? I recently tried to extend the cable length on my PSVR2 headset I wanted to add 20-30 feet, but I came to find out the headset could only tolerate a single 10 foot extension extension at max before losing signal/data (still had power and showed a loading bar, but that's it at 16, 20, and 30 feet of extension) Wondering if there are powered USB-C cables out there Comment from : Nicholas Ontiveros |

Is it better to have a single long hdmi cable 4-5 metres? or is it better to use a 2 metre hdmi extension, and a 3 metre hdmi? cable Comment from : youknow |

Hi Caleb, I'm experiencing an annoying problem, I have a samsung 65inch Q800t with only 1 hdmi 21 port, I have both a series X and ps5 connected through an hdmi switch I purchased the switch on Amazon, it's an eluteng 8k60hz Both consoles confirm 120hz is supported through setting menu'sbrMy problem started on the series X with a random black flicker screen, it gets really annoying, the ps5 will run some games at 120hz, where as bigger titles like call of duty cold war 120hz is permanently disabled, the info screen on the TV indicates 59 or 60hzbrbrThe series X hdmi cable is connected from the switch to the TV, I've tried multiple hdmi 21 cables from the series x to the switch and vice versa The original cable connects the ps5 to the switch I'm considering trying a 075m/2ft cable between both consoles and the switch Im beginning to think it could be the length hence trying to add the 075m cable, oh I'm from South Africa if that's neededbrAny advice will help, Comment from : Kyle McDonald |

I purchased a Highwings 8K@60 Long HDMI Cable 15FT, 48Gbps 21 High Speed Gaming HDMI Cord 4K120 144Hz RTX 3090 eARC HDCP 22&23 Compatible for PS5, SoundBar, AVR, UHD TV, to connect my Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop 7567 with a NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB GDDR5 graphics memory, to my TV for YouTube programs on a larger screen If YouTube is in small or regular mode the speed seems to be OK, but if I change the screen to theater mode or full screen mode, I get a voice delay Help Great video Thanks Comment from : Doug Harlow |

Might I ask you a question please?
br
brI have just bought a used Yamaha A3060 and I have a 2020 Sony Bravia TV (still in its box) and wondered, if I were to connect the 2 via an ARC lead, would that mute the speakers on the TV?
br
brThing is, if I wish to just watch TV without using the AVR every time, would I still get sound from the Sony even though the ARC is connected but the amp switched off?
br
brI hope my question makes sense I'm in the UK by the way Comment from : Jay Roland |

There is an on going & I mean years old problem with HDMI going through a older HDMI equipped receiver making nice with a PC & new 4k TVs like a LG C2 brThe PC will connect to the TV (HDMI from PC to TV), but go from the PC to AVR to TV and nothing This is the fault of the industry & from everything I've seen they have done absolutely nothing to fix it brMy AVReceiver works fine when connected to my old Samsung 1080 TV but since I bought a new 4k LG C2 I can only watch with the TV speakers I have read many threads each one more frustrating than the next brLG C2 not connecting though my receiver has left me saying I will never buy anything form LG ever again This is something they absolutely know about & they should have fixed many many years ago Their solution if you want to call it that, is use the optical connection brI say: FIX the problem LG! My HDMI cable should work with my receiver & your TV or you should put a warning in big letters saying does not work with your receiver so plan on spending more to have to buy another one brAlso, older AVR aren't equipped with ARC so forget that too People who review these things should point this major flaw out but I have never seen anyone even bring this problem up I guess we should all just buy everything new & throw away our old equipment brWhy can't LG fix this problem? Why do no reviewers mention it? I guess in the throw away society we have created planned obsolescence is the industry standard Comment from : Fuzzy Counsellor |

It didn't work on the TV and it didn't work in my other TV which both are smart TV's, I don't have much knowledge about technology though, I got frustrated and said just forget I'll keep watching the shows on my cell phone Comment from : Jorge Dominguez |

I bumped into this video trying to solve a problem that am currently facing I live in East Africa and my home internet is 15 mbps I use servioo to host my movies and to stream them, most 4k films always buffer and this makes a huge chunk of it some run smoothly others don't now can the problem be my HDMI or is it my internet speeds (I use a Sony STR1050 Avr, a Mi box S and LG QNED 80) NB my contents are already downloaded to my PC Someone please advise Comment from : Kevin Yiaile |

Gawd I hate HDMI My Pioneer Elite Plasma TV was on it’s last legs I loved that TV as it lasted 12 years I have a surround sound system which was included in the condo I bought from the previous owner Anyhow thought I would buy a new Samsung TV for $80000 at the reputable electronic store I go to OMG did I get a rude awakening I had to replace everything but the speakers in the wall Walked in figuring to spend around $800, walked out of the store $2,80000 poorer! What just happened to me? Was I just violated? None of my existing equipment was HDMI compatible I had to replace everything Just one stupid HDMI cable was $9995 I had to get three of them Is this going to happen to me every time I have to replace my TV? What a bunch of thieves this industry is How do they get away with this legal robbery? I’m like, should I buy another backup TV to use when my new one craps out 10 years from now or sooner Nothing lasts as long as it used to Will the technology all change again when I have to buy another TV I’m soooo PO’d This industry is playing the consumer for suckers Sur the picture is a little better but not $2,00000 worth! Shyster industry to say the least! Grrrrrr Comment from : 3 Putt |

Since every HDMI is 21 "compliant" now, regardless of what feature set they actually support, there's bound to be a lot of "21" certified cables on the market that will most certainly crap the bed with anything that requires higher bandwith Comment from : sidewalkere |

I like Blue Jeans Cables They have a cable for any application up to HDMI 20 They won’t honestly certify any cable as HDMI 21, because the testing spec STILL isn’t well defined (the “mess” mentioned in this video) They address whether their “FE” spec cable will ultimately meet a 21 spec, and don’t lie about the answer Also, they identify where each of their cable families are made A very trustworthy source Comment from : Steve Santjer |
