A fuddy duddy like me can often deride YT, I mean a billion likes for a falling loaf of bread However, there are also a ton of proper content creators that I can get something from, something from I mean learn something useful I’ve paid for some lessons, watched a ton of other guitar videos on here & finally, someone who strips it back to the bare basics, not assuming that we all know what you’re talking about & pitching this at exactly the right pace You were the guide I was looking for, a structure to measure progress & not taking yourself over seriously, humour is spot on Subscribed & will be working my way through your videos rather than watching dozens of others & not getting anywhere Thank you for the hard work you put in & also looking forward to seeing your growth as you work your way through your content Good luck 👌🏻

My guitar has a tiny notch at the end of one of the frets that the high E string likes to get stuck on, would filing the tiny piece of metal down be a bad idea?

I am showing interest in learning guitar I just subscribed to your channel and one question I have right now is I am not much into the acoustic guitar as I am wanting to learn the electric guitar I am still looking for a guitar that I want and found one on Amazon for $80 and it has descent reviews for a beginner but anyway my question is is the cheap electric guitar really good to go with for a person like me who is looking at learning how to play? or am I gonna end up with something that is garbage? I mean it is an investment and I want something that will last me awhile and not work next the day so to speak I am on a very tight budget

Great video! As someone who's a complete beginner, I can tell my technique is awful because I can't seem to let go of a string on the fretboard without producing a sound there Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? How do I change my fingers without making the string I just used vibrate?
