why Lease a Car for$ or 5 Grand a year which means £12000 to £15000 for 3 year Lease when you can buy one for £20000 Comment from : William Gillbanks |
|
Financing a vehicle is going to cost less a month than leasing it in almost any situation because leases are about 3 years and financing is about 5 Payments spread over five years are going to be less And that's not even accounting for the fact that the leasing situation right now is absolutely crazy because the money factors or leasing charge are ridiculously high adding upwards of $200 or so a month just to your payment Comment from : Turk Wendell |

Generally a good job A "negative", you forgot to mention is that places like Toyota, Honda and others wont let you sell them your leased car (when leased through the car manufacturer) Recently, Carmax had a sign up which said they wont (cant) buy cars leased from the following companies, and the list included most common car companies such as Toyota, Honda, etc I dont want a "lease company" telling me when to get rid of my car Instead, I want to trade cars "when I think" its a good time for me, such as when car companies have super specials, low interest rates, year end closeout etc Leasing through the car companies means I cant do that, and that is frustrating as I typically trade cars every 1-2 years, sometime even more often when it makes financial sense Example: Recently a USED 2022 CAmry hybrid LE (52 miles per gallon) cost $29500 new, but was worth $31,000 used (cash or trade in value), because the new ones have a 6-12 month waiting list I think that time is mostly gone, however, when we can buy a new car and sell it for a profit just a few months later This only worked with popular cars such as RAV 4 hybrid, Camry Hybrid, Honda CRV hybrid, Ford Maverick, etc Comment from : Loyal Blair |

Due to personal reasons needing more cargo space now, I need to get a car with more rear space Four months ago I leased a 2022 Hyundai Kona The payoff is 25,300 I have checked with Carvana, Carmax, We buy your carand they offer online quotes around 23k A local Hyundai dealer even less I'd like to stay with Hyundai due to its contractual situation A Hyundai tucson has a high msrp, and even higher now due to what is happening I never thought paying more than the msrp but it is what it is now However with all that background, what more could I possibly try? Obviously I realize not much But I'm desperate Something I surely can't tell a dealership or fir sure they won't budge I literally need space now for a non expected wheel chair Thanks and I look forward to your reply Comment from : Ronn |
