I am a big fan of Steelwater safes At their price point, it is the best money can buy At close to 2K pounds loaded with my firearms and other valuables this is not an easy move brThe next step up is a Sturdy, that is the top teir Secureit is half their sizes and two times as expensive

They look good but they have thin side walls You can see through the slotted wall in the back That’s is a con to me but if wall that sum gun up on the sides I think that would be the batter option safe

Theoretically could you not fit more long guns if you put them sideways? Ie ejection port facing you I know they wouldnt be secured but rather just leaning in there

little tipsmall medicine cup and or paint bottlereally smalland some Linde seed oil in cup or bottle and place in safe No rust mix turpentine and linseed oil (something like 3 or 4-to-1) no need to place on gun Just sit it inside the enclosed space

Yeah, not seeing my rifle fit in that tiny thing I have a zastava black arrow and a Barrett that would never fit in there, cute toy to put ammo in if they are cheap enough, I bought 2 of those cheap sentry safes from lowes for my ammo nowthe 42 gun safes I put bulk stuff in ammo boxes at the bottom and loaded m4 mags in 1filled the entire 42gun safe, took a while but each month I bought 500 rounds and 15 mags, a few years, I had a full safe of mags The second one has mainly mags for the scar, they are much more expensive so it's still being filled But it's half full of saiga mags and belts for my 249 Not a Texas resident, people always ask Those little baby safes could hold my bolt action ammo

Here's a tip , The little silicone packages that come in different electronic equipment save those, and keep those in your safe they pull humidity and moisture out of the air that'll help keep any rust from forming on your equipment

ALL home safes sold at big box/outdoor stores are complete crap All safes can be breached by a pro A good safe gives you time The best safes make breaching with common tools including grinders impractical (unless you are on vacation with no security system and no nosy neighbors) Good safes are very expensive and great safes are hideous Take a look at a Graffunder Fortress to see what I'm talking about

That's what I have, lighter safes that fit inside existing cupboards that are bolted from inside of the safe with bolts to concrete/brick walls Makes the safe the same comparisons as safes that weigh hundreds of pounds
