I was taught as far back as I can remember that every gun in our house is loaded and don't touch I was shown what damage a firearm can cause and how it can change lives forever By the time I was 10 I had my own 22 my dad and I would shoot I don't believe in ever keeping firearms a secret from your children

Like this idea about storage gun units around the house plus in my vehical but my vehical has not place for that size safeWould need a smaller oneI was thinking of some 500 pound safes around the house but more importantly safes in other places so if there's ever a government gun grap all your guns aren't in one place

To each his own I wouldn't use that type of storage case I have several gun safes I use The most important part of securing your home is to have an alarm system so the perps have a very limited time before the police show up Also a video surveillance system so you have video of the perps to hand over to the police

Honestly, looks extremely cheap Sounds like really, REALLY thin and cheap metal you could just man handle The perfect on the back are easy pry points or saw access Me personally, I'd never buy this particular product based on how cheap and easy target is seems to be INSTEAD, I'd be more in the market for something like a TACTICAL WALLS concealment table or shelf system If you've never heard or seen these products, it's at minimum worth the look for REAL concealment options, over just hiding a gun cabinet/safe under your bed or closetone of the first places a their looks btw! It still doesn't "conceal" anything, but rather draws more attention as you stated before

I agree, don't store your guns in a place that tells the thief, this is where you go to get your guns or valuables I use a tool box full of tools that I can't pick up because it's too heavy The toolbox has a fairly flimsy lock, and thieves might want the tools but it's tucked away in the closet behind a bunch of hanging clothes So it's out of sight I can get to it easily, but unlocking it in a crisis such as a break-in would take too long and I would be dead This is only used as a temporary hiding place when I'm Gone, otherwise the gun is fully exposed Thanks for the video Thumbs up

I took my cheap storage cabinets And added two hasp and keyed master locks for each one You are correct about time, anything to slow them down I made my ammo storage cabinet so heavy two guys couldn't carry it Plus it has multiple locks to cut, if they have bolt cutters Lots of crackhead thieves won't carry B n E tools because they don't want to get caught with that stuff

I’ve found educating everyone about gun safety is the best policy And if anyone doesn’t like that I have firearms and refuses to come over I’m ok with that However it is still a fact children aren’t receiving important information about gun safety at ages that would greatly reduce accidental shootings and that needs to change As a child we had both local gun shops and police come to our school and teach safety and what to do if a firearm was found in a home and this happened from first to sixth grade They need to start those programs back up I do like these lighter storage containers have never been a fan of the big safes ever
