Chigurgh is the embodiment of a modern development in chaos and violence in the world When he asks "Do you see me?", I think its not only a version of the "I was never here" thing villians say to witnesses when they commit something illegal, I think he's also asking this character if he SEES the modern development in chaos and violence in the world If the character says "No", maybe Chigurgh doesn't kill him nor dish out his platter of fate in the form of the coin toss Maybe if a person is capable of seeing modern evil and chaos, they can survive it a bit longer One can say this represents the virtues of a morally relative individual who adjusts their conception of evil based on developing understanding as opposed to a morally universal (ie religious) person There are a host of issues with moral relativism like how can one even define anything immutable if one's always changing their definition of evil, but that dilemma can wait when you're face to face with Chigurgh Comment from : iMFA - Cinema
