I understand how they mean to use depreciation in order to avoid paying company taxes However, you still need to have personal money in order to live, regardless of how much your company makes You can get this either by dividends or by having a salary or by buying/selling assets and making a capital gains, all of which you need to pay taxes on There is no way to get around that is there? They say that the investor pays 0 taxes, but actually they also need to have personal money (they cannot pay for everything in their lives via the company), which means that they will need to get a salary or get dividends and that they still need to pay taxes on So they ultimately do not pay 0 in tax?brbrDid I understand this correctly? There’s only one major problem with what this guy is saying, broker dealers are not allowed to lend out retirement savings, or even basic investment accounts This is inaccurate Banks are another story Banks do lend out your cash balances, and there is a multiplier That said, as soon as you move that money into a money market fund for example, they can no longer lend against those balances This is exactly why a lot of banks got in trouble recently People started moving money into money market away from basic bank savings This created a big liquidity crunch for them Comment from : Alex Is |
