Those numbers don’t add up… a 60,000$ household income… bringing home 6000$ a month… I make 50,000$ and bring home about 3000$ a month after 401k contributions and other retirement accounts… now when you add my spouse that goes up to around 6000$ take home

I was bragging to myself that I realized I hadn't been doing a drive-through every morning to get a breakfast sandwich (or combo - let's be real) on my way to work since starting my new job! What I didn't count for was that I was actually stopping at the little "convenience store" in my worksite's building, and still at least picking up a soda or a snack if not something for breakfast even if it was cheaper yep, they're right - Denial!! 😮

So true regarding the grocery costs I was on a “budget” and I basically took eating out completely off that list But when I went grocery shopping, I would overspend, thinking, “Hey, at least I’m cooking and not eating out so why can’t I buy these pre-cut vegetables to save myself a bit of effort?” A few months in, I realized I’m basically spending whatever I was spending on restaurant into groceries

Depending on how much food I buy I do only spend roughly $40-50 a week at the most unless I need to buy a bunch of food for a specific recipe or to replace ripped jeans once every several months Versus going out to eat you can spend 2-5x that per week So you really do save money if like you said when you buy only what's on the list and you buy healthy foods like beans, rice, fruits, bread, and meat Even though I prefer protein powder because it's cheaper, but buying meat is still less expensive than going out because you get MORE food for the money and I'm a big lean eating machine Going out is bad for me because I have a high metabolism and I have to eat far more unless it's a healthy restaurant that gives you good portions for the price

i place my grocery order online and go pick them up once a week and try to go to Farmers Market 2 or 3 times a month to get good quality fruits and vegetables Have to eat healthy too, so I can enjoy my golden years

These are very valuable info for anybody who wants to get rich Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit I just don't know how they do it I have about $109k now to put in the market

My family do not eat at restaurants We write down mortgage amount, electric bill, gas bill, garbage disposal, water bill, car payment, car insurance, etc I don't go to mall, I don't dye my hair, I eliminated manicures and pedicures I unplugged lamps when not in use, I unplugged microwave when not in use, got rid of cable TV, got rid of gym membership, canceled subscriptions, I make my lunch and drink and pack it to work Yes, changed my lifestyle All my credit cards are paid off and canceled Last car payment next week and emergency fund 1k in savings Next going to focus on Baby Step 3

What they need to admit is that if your income is too low and your bill expenses are too high " that you have to Pay" it still take majority everything So you really need to make more money for a certain economy to survive that economy expense or you can use a whole check Your apartment is 750 your check is 950 or 800 every 2 weeks Do you have enough to afford liv8ng? Not really because your check is going to rent so how do you budget that? Another thing with grocery shopping 🛒 doing a once a month major stock up trip tends to save you money in the long run it might be say $600 all at once but it keeps you from buying little extra things in smaller trips thinking oh it’s just a little something I’m not saying never go to the grocery store in between, do for fresh groceries like produce, bread 🍞 milk 🥛 and eggs 🥚 but do the stock up on things with a long shelf life once a month Yes it’s a lot of money upfront but it does keep you from leaking money into small transactions thinking it’s no big deal

Best strategy with grocery shopping my in laws taught my wife and I is to set a grocery budget and have one of us track the costs as we add to the cart on a calculator If it's over like $040 I round up a dollar It enables me to maintain budget pretty carefully and know when to put fun out of the cart when it doesn't fit the budget
