Not true on the per day pricing I just booked a trip to disney and the per day pricing was more expensive when doing a 2 day pass I ended up buying 2 single day passes and it was about $75 cheaper

Our favorite work around for souvenirs is pin trading, BUT don't even think about buying pins in the parks where you'll spend several dollars each, check eBay before you go, you can get lots of 50 pins for about $30 I'm sure that a lot of them are factory seconds or whatever, but we've never had a problem trading them in the parks and it's just so much fun Looking for cast members with lanyards and trying to find all the pins from a certain theme or character really satisfies the urge to buy a bunch of souvenirs

!!EVERY PARENT READ!!! brI had a brilliant idea for our first Disney World trip to save money and make it incredibly magical!!! I’m sure it’s been done before brI bought cute princess necklaces, earrings, tshirts, a couple plushies and ears…something for every day of our trip My husband would get the girls out of the room ahead of me, and I had a bag hanging in the open closet that’s adjacent to the door I’d grab 2 items and place them on the bed and sprinkle a bit of pixie dust (glitter) First day were adorable Disney princess necklaces Every princess they met the next day commented on their beautiful necklaces Our girls bragged that Tinkerbell came into their room and left them a present🥰 Belle was one of the necklaces She told my daughter those were chosen from their private collections Only special young princess are chosen, and she was so happy Tinkerbell chose them 👸🏼🤯🥰😍🥲 I bought it all at Walmart or the dollar tree!!! (Mom doing the “I win” mom dance 😂) My husband poo pooed my idea when I came home with my bag of Disney stuff My husband asks me before every Disney trip what Tinkerbell is leaving the girls 🤣 brThis created a magical moment for everyone, even people around us A couple moms told me they were stealing my idea 😉🤓 br!!PLEASE SHARE THIS MAGICAL MOMENT IDEA!!!!

For 20 years, my husband and I had annual passes After 2020 my husband's business took a nose dive so we decided to wait to go back to Disneyland Unfortunately, it looks like we will never be able to afford to go back It's so sad 😞 Disneyland had always been my escape and happy placebut now we are priced out 😔

We bought the bubble wands when my kids were 4 We have brought them back with us every year since (they are 8) and it has saved us so much $$ Plus we have lent them out (and our ears) to friends several times We have gotten our moneys worth from that investment!! Pro tip: make sure to change the batteries because the wands don't work as well with low batteries

Hello! Watching 9 days later Another great and positive video!! Thanks for always helping everyone that maybe is planning a first ever Disney trip!! Always bring ypur own snacks when possible, tupperware type containers and small lunchboxes are allowed I always bring stainless steel refillable tumblers and plastic onestip is you get free ice water at many restaurants and quick service spots!! brJust one thing I would add is: NO GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED, they will confiscate all glass

Silhouette Studio is a great stop for a relatively inexpensive (not sure how much, now they’ve reopened) souvenir for parents, & everyone! (You know adults buy stuff for ourselves, so hard to resist cute merch in the parks) Much better than Mickey plates or sweaters or what have you They’re such a great memory, last a lifetime As I recall you would get two as the paper was doubled You don’t have to buy the frame

Thank you ❤brI have to be honest about getaway today, I will tell you that the only reason that I haven’t used Getaway today, and keep using the Disney packages, is because with getaway today you can’t make reservations at the park until your package is completely paid off Whereas with Disney, I can make my reservations so it saves my spot and continue to pay But if I ever have the money up front, or plan long enough in advance I will definitely try getaway today ❤

If you are from out of town and visiting and don't have a rental car or don't want to travel far off site, I HIGHLY recommend just getting a grocery delivery to the hotel on the first day Water, fruit, snacks, diapers, etc brbr We struggled to find diapers ANYWHERE on the resort (which to me was pretty unbelievable that we were staying at DL Hotel and they didn't feel it was necessary to have diapers To me it's not a resort if you have to leave for basic necessities) They told us to go walk to CVS far away not great Another person overheard me and recommended a grocery delivery and that was a life saver!

So if you stay at a hotel with a comp breakfast buffet We would bring ziplock bags, make extra waffles at breakfast & put those in the bag, take a little peanut butter packs & Bananas or apples from the breakfast as well We pack that and bring them as a snack

FYI - yes paying for Park Hopper is more expensive but if you are a once in a lifetime traveler/international traveler like myself and only have one day Paying for a park hopper one day ticket is STILL cheaper than two days single park Keep that in mind! I'm surprised Chris didn't mention this! Disney tries to get you to stay longer so that you spend more on site/in the parks, but you can do the parks in less days/one day if you plan well!brbrYes the multiday tickets price reduces per day the longer you go, but you are STILL paying significantly more (meals, extra days, souvenirs) if you go more days! So if you don't need to/cant afford it you can definitely do less days Don't get fooled by the "you're paying less per day" you are STILL going to be spending more - maybe you won't need to It's all on a case by case basis! Plan for yourself accordingly 😃

Decades ago I would shop Disneystore clearance way in advance and save the clothes for our tripkids got cool shirts to wear (sometimes matching) and it was new now I shop Amazon for the grandkids shirts

Several years ago before Covid I decided to go to Disneyland I was terrified to travel alone, being on the older side, but really wanted to go! Per your recommendation, I contacted "Getaway Today" BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Kind, friendly, helpful people They walked me through everything, explaining things in a way I could understand They made me feel valued I had an amazing trip! Went to Disneyland, Universal and Knotts There was a mixup in transportation and they were right on it Can't say enough praise for this company! Thank you for introducing them to me I tell everyone to use them when planning a trip Sorry I didn't tell them I heard about the company from your video I still have a lot to learn when it comes to all this stuff Again thank you for helping make it the best trip ever!

When I was in high school I made a spreadsheet with all of the cheapest places to get food around Disneyland and DCA It was organized by land, so at any time when i got hungry, I could just look at the section where I was and see where to grab a cheap(er than the rest) bite I make sure to update it as often as I can, and I still use it every time I go to the parks

Another tip I found, when looking at only 2-3 days, check the price of the single day tickets for the days you want to go compared to the price of multi-day tickets If you are going for a few "off" days, the price can be as low as $104 (at time of writing), whereas 2 day tickets run a flat $143 per day and 3 day $120 per day If you want to go on a weekend or holiday, the multi-day ticket will almost always be cheaper

I find if you go when most rides are down for maintenance (forgot which months)and during a school day during daytime the lines are so small you can make it to nearly all the rides and sometimes twice without upgrading to fast pass

PLEASE, Mr Provost, will you find out how much the split plate charge is at the Blue Bayou? PLEASEIt used to be 15 dollars and they would split the entree on to two plates and give full sides for both plates I don't know if they still do it I know BB is not a budget friendly place but it might be squeezed into a budget with a split plateAlso curious to know how much it cost to get an extra piece of fried chicken at Plaza Inn- we split a plate between two here but could have easily split it three ways if we just got an extra breast Could you ask for us PLEASE???!
