When I was in my mid 20s, my husband and I only spend 1k in total by doing all the driving from out of state, bring our own food, do park hopper to keep our newly graduated students' budget Now, ten years past, we have two young kids, make decent money I budget much more because we need to fly in and out, need to have longer stay to enjoy the slow pace of the park, have to live close-by to make sure kids could have good rest whenever they need, and we even had to add Universal to our trip because of the newly opened Super Nintendo World yeah, we are not having a luxury trip, but 6-7k for 6-day trip is reasonable Comment from : Ying Liu |

Damn, I was hopping for something lower My budgeting left me at 65K (this is with over-estimating for emergencies), so this basically lines up with what I already thought My family is pretty piss-poor despite working constantly and doing college/school/etc constantly, and I always have wanted to give them a vacation, especially with my younger sibling about to graduate high school Finally felt like the perfect time to let us all have a good vacation for once Guess I got work even harder and try and figure out how to afford this, haha I hope you all enjoy your lives, and have a good time on vacation if you go! I paid $450 for a family of 5 for one day We plan to take our daughter for her 5th birthday to Disneyland Visit the Los Angeles Museum and eat around the town the next day We live in Las Vegas so plan to be there only a couple of days It’s pricey but my children’s childhood and happiness are worth every penny!!!! I used to in live in OC half of my life Sadly as for most local we rarely went to Disneyland But I suggest if you want to save big just head toward central Orange county such as Santa Ana or Garden Grove to get some cheap and good food Stay away from tourist attraction hotel and find cheap location around Tustin, ,Garden Grove, Santa Ana or Costa Messa if you want to save big If you want to avoid Traffic also just travel the small street during the weekdays often time it take about 20 min to get to Anaheim Also I highly suggested to expand your exposure to the OC and LA their is so much to do beside just disneyland, often time I can see you use those extra cost to explore the city their is so much diversity in Southern California Comment from : Name |

Wow! My sister and I used to stay at a hotel right outside the Disneyland gates so that saved a lot of money and was really convenient We dined at the Blue Bayou and that was the most we spent for food other than a snack here and there Compared to these prices, although there were only two of us, we got off easy The price of the entry ticket was about $100 each so that was spendy about 15 years ago But it helped that we lived less than 20 miles away and drove an economical car Those were the days! We are headed to Disney over spring break We bought our park tickets on the AAA website it was so easy the fourth day was only $20 a person (Park hopper)…this gets us in to the park on the travel day to Anaheim The total vacation price is humbling but we are so looking forward to the family vacation after not traveling for spring break for 2 years plus my oldest is graduating from high school and it was his choice on how to celebrate! We live in San Jose and go to Disneyland twice a year For 20 years we stayed at either the Disneyland Hotel or the Grand Californian, but over the last 5 years the prices have gotten ridiculous We now stay at the Anaheim Sheraton which is a partner hotel that’s just been remodeled and a short walk to the park entrance for a third of the price Also, if you want to do lunch or dinner at Disneyland, DCA or Downtown Disney at a restaurant, you MUST plan ahead and make reservations in advance of your stay Comment from : 993mike |

Disney and I turn 70 at the same time and I was planning to go there for my Birthday I live over 5000 miles away which means flying, and air tickets are very expensive Hotel cost for one is the same as it is for four, as well as ride share As much as I would love to eat in the park, I think it's going to be peanut butter sandwiches stuffed in my bag for meals As always another wonderful video from you folks!!
