just to put this in perspective if we base it on a california minimum wage worker he or she makes $2400 a month if working a 160 hour month pre tax one trip to disney land would take up 125 of the monthly gross pay assuming everything was purchased such as the ticket, parking, special passes, food, and merchandise

To cut some costs you can bring food into the parks At least food that doesn't need to be refrigerated or heated Like sandwiches and candy Or if your comfortable with drinking warm drinks Just let them know that you have food in your bag when you go This should save you a little bit of money on food, and you can just try to buy some cheap snacks while your their before and after lunch brbrAlso it's better to eat dinner outside of disney world

Ugh It used to be so magical We just went Jan 30 to Feb 3 Camped at Fort Wilderness Didn't pay for parking 2 of us Passes to AK, HS & Epcot plus 4 nites at campsite $1392 Paid $92 for genie plus for the 3 days $22 for skip the line on Pandora Banchi ride $12 in starwars land for a hot dog $8 for a beer in Pandora Ate bfast lunch & dinner at trailer Epcot we had 4 beers each & food snacks for $132 Bought 4 pins, 1 magnet, 1 tshirt, 1 beer stein & some boxed chocolate for $154 Total of $1812 We were camping in FL for 2 1/2 months so we were already near there How do families do it plus eat 3 meals a day plus snacks tickets plus resort 😵😵😵

I see what you’re getting at but you’re making it sound like you’re going there every week of the year You’re on vacation, come on You can say the same thing about Las Vegas or a lot of west coast cities Average Vegas tourist probably spends $150+ per person a day on food, plus hotel and resort fees and if you’re renting a car that’s $80+ daily Not even counting tourist attractions yet

You can bring your own food! You arnt "trapped" you can come in and out of the park You also dont have to buy a genie pass the wait times will always be longer on weekends If you are new yes buy the one time 20$ to get your lightning lanes

No no no no that is not how you visit an amusement park first of all you try to get a deal on different websites and you go in the off-season which also helps with the lines and park 30 minutes away if you have to you are not paying that parking fee you sneak food in and you bring something to do while you're in line even if you go in offseason and you don't even look through the windows into the gift shop

My suggestion is to NEVER buy the Disney merch at Disney A little secret is that most of the same merch or similar is available off campus for Disney for a lower cost At least when I last went to Disney it was So a $45 T-shirt only cost $20 when we purchased it off campus
