New scam to look out for - "Superintendent/Supervisor in training" - this is a company that wants a gen laborer/worker for a yr to lay off, with the promises of wages in the future built into the position, to work an undetermined amount of time, at "trainee" wages

I just turned down a job offer Did a Google search on the owner and someone had put up a page exposing his fraudulent business practices All the links were livebrbrThey do a background check on you Do a background check on them as well This saved me from getting involved with a scam artist I will be researching future employers from now on

I met two of the managers who wanted me on their team, so I asked team questions of them to feel out their management style I was still thinking managers were independent and there was no formal management style I did ask about reviewing and evaluating performance It's really hard to imagine a company that formally addresses these as a company when you are employed at a company where managers just arbitrary decide these things I did end up on a third team, not the one who wanted me most
