The maples are much nicer in my opinion, just because I like my coins shiny, I have some maples and eagles in silver, eagle is a nicer coin just such a shame about the frosted finish

2008 was the only year for fractional Buffalo's They carry an extremely high premium Maple leaf is 24K or 9999 fine Eagles are 22K or 999 fine with a higher premium Personally would choose the Maple Leaf

It's the official Gold Bullion Coin of the United States Also it weighs over so you have a full ounce of pure Gold or full 1/10, 1/4, 1/2 ounce of pure Gold depending on what weight you pick up Dont get the Maple to start with get it 2nd The Gold Buffalo is just an ugly coin I know its 24kt but with the AGE you get a bit of silver and copper on top of your Full amount of gold Also the Eagle isnt Canadian, If it matters it matters Go with Eag!

For the info of the Canadian viewers, coin shops will charge you tax on the eagle and krugrand, as they are not considered a pure metal 93 i believe The maple leaf on the other hand 9999 pure no tax choice is obvious
