Hi, I was a car salesman at a small dealership for 2 weeks but didn’t make a sale during that period, although I did over 40 hours per week of telemarketing for them there I haven’t been given any compensation during my 2 weeks there yet after 2 weeks not working with them Am I entitled to a base pay compensation or do dealerships not pay people who don’t stay with the company? brIt was my first experience as a used car salesman Thank you! Some misinformation here br1) 100 you cannot run credit based on a driver's license alone You need a SSN, and running credit unauthorized is highly illegal ANY reputable dealership will have a customer sign an authorization before running creditbrbr2) Salesmen who upset a customer enough that they request another salesman, are not always entitled to half deals This is another red flag for a terrible dealership, and also a sign that salesman #2 in the scenario is weak Comment from : heavyW8champ |

Great Video I have been to a local dealership and purchased a car in the past I have looked at a car a number of times with a few test drives with different sales person I'm in their database already So if I went to buy a car, who will get the commission if I purchase? It’s been a long time since I’ve done a test drive But, the last time I did, they didn’t even ask to see a driver’s license If they do ask for it, should I tell them they do n’t have permission to take a copy ?
