I too suffered from Visual Snow and Depersonalization very badly for around a year after an incident where I was regularly taking oxycodone and ended up getting high on gasoline which felt like the effects remained the next day

Yes, of course HE made the decision to kill but how different his life would have been had he not be driven into self hate by the viciousness of those kids! I don’t know much about “visual snow” but it sounds like a variant of synesthesia, a condition that leads to a stimulus of one type provoking an unrelated perception The most common thing is people who “hear” colors It’s benign I know at least 3 people with synesthesia, and they are all very bright and normally functional
