I've got a question about few vs a few Recently, I've heard a yoga instructor (AE speaker) say "few more of those" when he actually meant, I think, "a few more of those" And this is not the first time I've heard a native speaker omit "a" when they're supposed to pronounce "a few" Besides the grammatical difference between the two expressions, is there a tendency not to pronounce "a" in "a few" in everyday English?
