As a 22 year old, I desperately want to avoid this lack of fulfillment I am currently deciding what I want my career to be, and what I want my degree to be I find myself lost and without direction! A heartwarming story, thank you for sharing! So many others are not this genuine though Quitting for the passion is nice and fine IF you can afford it This is the problem with others (edit: NOT this one, I am projecting to other videos), you are already sometimes in a comfortable position with money for the rest of your life And if not, you should be open and honest about this with your viewers so you don't mislead them into quitting when most likely it's not a wise decision So many other videos do this :(

For me, money is to buy freedom That's why I don't see any point in collecting branded stuff, eating out at expensive places, etc if that still digs in the portion of what I save/invest for the super rainy days With the money I saved I could finance my study, n that investment gave me a new career path that allows more freedom to design the life I want n hopefully the eventual freedom of the rat race

And so on this notebrbrbrI had an idea A utopia of living on the street Being free of the rat race and not dependent on money anymore Not thinking about materialism and not being a slave Now this may seem like a crazy idea to most After years of being depressed/anxiety, unhappy and constantly trying to chase money I realised that the core problem was money itself and that being free from this would free my life completely I understand that going onto a street seems insane and how are you going to live That is a price you have to pay and which I won’t answer here From my years of depression I felt that I came out of it with a new perspective I truly feel that I don’t want materialistic things and my interest in money has declined It is like i have entered a utopia of not wanting any of these commodities Only my mental health and spiritual being is the most important Will I actually live out this utopia? I could place my being anywhere and just live out my days I could experience the purity of being only me and not hinged to anything or anyone It’s a crazy concept and most would be scared to do it but to take that chance to learn and find out could be a once in life time opportunity most of us will never know Thank you

Yeah, working in a corporate world is a challenge And sometimes we burn our candles on both ends to make sure we deliver on top of what we are expected to do If we love our job, the environment, the people we work with…that will be awesome! However, most of the job around are toxic And when we think that we are indispensable at work, try “dying” and the corporation will just send flowers, a donation maybe, mourn the loss for a day or two and find your replacement within a week The company will not collapse, we are So yes…find the things that will really make you happy Remember, if we have savings, the things we love to do, we can do!
