The default cash account tied to my brokerage acct at Fidelity pays about 42 This the automatic acct where dividends and interest paid on the holdings in the acct accumulate This is a pretty good rate for excess or uninvested cash that accumulates in the acct Am not sure that other brokers pay this much on uninvested cash held in a brokerage acct
