Bridgestone, no one makes better They Even made the prototype for Tiger to win 2000 US Open, the ball was better than anything the rest of the players had, wind and length, it said NIKE on the ball but Bridgestone guys developed it using the Strata ball the O’Meara won 2 majors in 1998 as a starting point Most balls at the top end are very good, not like the old days Comment from : james fitzgerald |
Is this called the q star now? Comment from : J Gut |
I have become a fan of the taylormade distance plus cheap launch high and check up on green not as much spin as my tp5x but good to beat around and play with Comment from : Mudbugs Off-road |

I guess we are all different 😀 I tried these last year and I never will again, did not fit me whatsoever Firstly they didn´t last long at all, not even one round and I´m a slowswingspeed-player with 18-19hcp And I got zero control with them, didn´t trust them at all Anyone got any tip for another ball in the same category and prizerange? Comment from : Johan Posa Pros |
Been a Titleist guy forever Love the TP5 now Comment from : Ranger Danger |
Well, just saw this a year later Money spent on balls? $000 brbrI work at a golf course, when I go play I just grab balls out of one of my various 5 gallon buckets Callaway, Titleist, Taylormade and Nitros are the most common The first three stay in same bucket brbrBucket 2 gets filled with Bridgestone, Noodle, Vice, Cut, and Srixon The last being the least found brbrBut…after watching this I may buy a dozen to see if game improves brbrThanks for a wonderful channel! Comment from : Andrew Taylor |

What I never understand about these videos dealing with equipment (balls, clubs etc) for slow swing speeds or mid to high handicaps is that you guys never use golfers who are mid to high handicaps or golfers with slow swing speedslol It does us no good to watch James hit because he is none of those We need to see another hacker hit and see if there is improve or not lol Comment from : Razzle Dazzle |
this ball is 3800 a dozen here in CanadaSrixon soft feel are 2499 and i find they work pretty wellcheers from Canada Comment from : golfaddict |

AD333 Comment from : Jerry Markham |
I’ve actually never seen that ball for sale, I live in the US state of Oregon I usually play callaway supersoft or Bridgestone E6, if I am playing alone I usually hit whatever is rolling around loose in my bag or what I find on the course, but if I am playing a Nicer course I splurge for chromesoft balls just because it seems like the right thing to do hahahaha Comment from : Luke Morter |
Bridgestone e12 Really? Ole Nan w/high Handicap I use orange Titleist Velocity, yellow TM Distance, white Callaway tour soft which are all fairly inexpensive Comment from : Jerry Neff |

Good video James, it's wonderful that you show various levels of players options to help tune their game Have you done a version for the Bridgestone e6? Some say it's a ball for seniors but could it be "the ball" for mid handy cappers as well? Comment from : Bob Walker |
Q tour Comment from : Donald Bennett |
Kirkland best bang for the buck Comment from : TimDav1s |
Srixon ad333 , I use them and callaway supersoft personally I prefer the supersoft , I find they have a bit more control around the green But I find the srixon better in the winter for some reason , you can also pick up 24 Srixon for £30 in AG Comment from : Steve jackson |
I used to use these, called the the AD3'sbrbrYou can get these now for £30 per Dozen posted, perfect for casual games, I do prefer the kirklands for the same price but the AD3s are OKjust a little hard Comment from : Toon Lad |
My pro said buy anything with the word soft in it… Comment from : Big Gun |
My only issue with the AD333 is they scuff up quick and I find that’s when I lose them Seems to take a flight in to long rough never to be seen again However fresh and clean out the box perform really good I’ve moved to the Srixon distance and I don’t lose them no where near as often as they don’t scuff up as bad Much harder ball however Comment from : Richard Fox |
Was looking for this ball in the US, and figured out here in the US, it’s called the Q star Been playing it for a while in conjunction with the Bridgestone E series Awesome balls Comment from : 52 T |
The 333 tour was definitely softer has this been discontinued? Or is this version an update? Comment from : Tony Law |

I’ve used Srixon for ages, distance & soft feel as well as the ad333 all very similarAlso the Z star etc…are well superior to the equivalent CALLAWAY,titleist, etc… Comment from : John Francis Spencer |
Srixon Comment from : John Francis Spencer |
Srixon is the best selling ball round our way because I keep finding srixon balls on dog walking duties around my course ! Comment from : Andy Linacre |
I find loads of these on my local course in hull I quite like using them if I've already lost afew balls I'm a high handicapper and normally use any premium balls I find in the sale section Comment from : chris tomkinson |
Must be Srixon AD333 based on the number of them I find in the water and heavy rough, although I do find a hell of a lot of Pro Vs too Comment from : David Graham |
Titleist Tru feel for me which I think are a few pound more than these per box Comment from : Craig Lang |
I have used the AD333 and even more the AD333 Tour quite a lot I am currently a +1 handicap golfer and while I do find that I sacrifice a little performance between the AD333 and my normal gamer which is the ZStar XV, even as a low handicap golfer, I do not see a massive difference in my scoring when playing what is considered a second tier ballbrI think a lot of weekend golfers think of themselves as far better than they really are None of us including even scratch handicappers are actually good enough to really see a massive difference And the flipside is that as a +1 or scratch I also have sufficient ability to make the ball work and adjust my chipping enough to allow for slightly more run out or a slightly higher ball flight off my irons Comment from : Doron Neuhaus |
I would like to see you test these against the costco kirkland ball on your launch monitor James Both are a similar price point for us tight arses Comment from : Alex Corbett |
Just bought 24 of these from sports direct for £35 (BARGIN) not played with them yet but they look and feel like a premium ball I usually play with Pro V’s (I’m a 14 handicap) Comment from : Ryan Signett |
Another good video My issue with these super soft golf balls is on the green They give very little feedback when putting I much prefer a firmer ball Comment from : Rolf Robert |
James, when you get a chance please test the new Callaway Super Soft Magna oversized golf balls I've just started using these balls and it makes normal size golf balls look the size of grapeslol Give them a try Comment from : Mike Kuzbyt |
Callaway Warbird $17 for a dozen and it feels decent enough Comment from : Chasin Jw |
Ive never seen this ball available in the states, however, it does sell on the Amazon site does it compare to the Q star ball ? I'm listed as a 143 handicapper and play the Srixon Z XV ball in Yellow Comment from : Scott Witman |
Yep I got a box of ad333 but unless it’s a qualifier I usually play with what I find - Does it make any difference for a high handicapper! Comment from : Barry Murton |
They are my fav ball to find and if you chuck them down like that, Yes! Found my first Kirkland the other day but no Lidl yet, Comment from : Barry Murton |
About the notifications- I run my gmail through outlook and for months and months now I get no notifications for any youtube channel I am subscribed to, they all just stopped, I used to get them, BUT if I log into gmail directly in a browser, no outlook, the notifications are all there in the inbox, so somehow they are being stopped from coming through to outlook, for me anyway, no idea if this is happening with other email clients or just outlook, I've been through the settings, googled it a few times but can't find a reason why, it's kind of annoying really Comment from : David Boddy |
Srixon AD triple three I use them almost exclusively and my club sells them for GBP 27 for 24 balls, including my 10 member discount So 30 quid for non-members Also available online at that price, but they are last years model Comment from : Karma |
I use Titleist NXT Tour (lake balls), good balls at a price where I'm ok when I lose one Comment from : Stephen Allen |
Honest 16 handicap and I use the Snell MTB Black, $32 USD a dozen with all the performance you could want Comment from : Tony |
I am a 24 handicapper and recently started gaming the inesis 900 tour They feel amazing, especially into and around the green Comment from : Team 76 |
From what I can gather on the web, SeRM is a urethane compound So you've got an inexpensive ionomer two-piece ball with juuuuust enough urethane sprayed on it to give it some zip For a few holes anyway They don't put that coating on the Soft Feel I guess it would make it too "expensive", but that would be great brbrThe AD333 did really well in Today's Golfer's ball test a couple of years back Not the longest, but more than respectable for average speed swings But that Spinskin coating is the real deal Wedge spin was higher than a bunch of urethane tour balls Comment from : Daniel Cohen |
Didn’t Rick Shiels just make a video about those balls, come up with your own vids bud Comment from : Carlos Llanes |
Using the srixon distance ball have been for quite a while Great ball and great price Comment from : peter osgood |

Got a free dozen with my insurance last year there ok I’m on tm rbz soft now better ball I think 🤔 Comment from : John Cunnington |
Now Srixon should get the AD333 into the MyGolfSpy comparison ball test :) Comment from : Aart van der Molen |
How does the AD333 match up with the Q Star or Soft Feel? I don't see the AD333's here in my neck of the woods (Winterville, NC USA) Comment from : Duffer Dave |
I have played this ball and it's horrible I hated it It felt like I was hitting a brick I now play either the Wilson staff duo pro or the Callaway chrome soft truvis Comment from : keghan booth |
Talks so much waffle and I'm all for it 👍 Comment from : David Mawson |

I used to play the Calloway Red or blue, I think the red had more spin, circa 2000🐌✨👍 Comment from : Professor of extremely small snails Giantshell |
I love the AD333, I think its a great ball My only issue is that the durability isn't the best but I've found if you put a lighter to the fray scuff marks it's still good Comment from : Tyron Ngeru |
New golfer here (if I had a handicap it would be like 40) and I've been using AD333's since I started earlier this month due to the cheap price Even went as far as buying 100x A grade 2nd hand balls when I realised it was cheaper to lose them lol still have heaps which are my practice balls for the park now that I'm not losing heaps on course Only downside to them is they scuff up very quickly, but that's not an issue for me Comment from : Mat P |
I'm playing the Wilson Duo+ and they are the same price as the Srixon here in Sweden I do like them I'm a 28 hcp Comment from : Johan Lundmark |
I use a TP5x PIX so I DON"T lose more balls Comment from : Michael |

Srixon ad333 Comment from : David Hugill |
By the way Titleist have terrible balls other than their V1 and V1X and AVX range and no wonder other brands kill them in this space Comment from : Vikram Pitre |
Of late I’m noticing players playing these balls in Oz ! Has had a great feedback in uk For me at 14hcp Srixon Q star tour is so great, don’t feel like changing A sleeve lasts me at least 12 games Feel and softness are similar but the diff is the better stopping power in the short game with the Q star Comment from : Vikram Pitre |
I'm a 18 hcp I play with titleist avx or pro v1brMy daughter 40 hcp just got her the srixon q star tour yellow/orange Comment from : Andrew Maugham |
18 handicap, not above playing found balls I find if they're in good shape But I'm also picky there, sticking with higher end premiums Last box I bought are ERC IIs, which I like quite a bit Comment from : spectre205 |
Pretty obvious you and Rick are getting your marching orders from the same place I’m sure you did video this a week ago but I’d bet he did also You make great videos and I enjoy them daily so keep up what your doing This isn’t the first time your and ricks schedule has mirrored each other so don’t play dumb sir Comment from : John Angle |
James I’m a 17 handicap I buy my golf balls from lost golf balls Play the Bridgestone e6 and have tried the Callaway ultra soft I spend as little as possible Usually 20 dollars for a dozen Comment from : jeff bates |
