I leases a car from Nissan, 6 weeks later the loan mnge called me the dealership overcharged than what the bluebook was worth, told me go sign nre paperwork at dealership I arrived and the mnge at Nissan told me give him my keys and give him a couple days to find a better car, no sir got back in my car and left, text and called saying he was calling police, 3 days later had me return and signed new paperwork now it's been almost 7 weeks and mnge at dealership is texting and emailing he needs new signature on GAP paperwork but all 3 GAP has different loan amounts, nothing matches as far as numbers on all 3 GAP I'm so confused what should I do, I haven't signed the 3rd one yet

Thanks but what I don’t understand is why the lease is calculated in a way that the interest is applied to the whole principal and you pay for it every month making it much more expensive than a loan when the interest is payed only on the part that is left on each month Let’s say a car costs 27,000, the residual value is 16,000, the APR for the lease is 6 and you lease it for 36 months My first impression was that it’s the same as taking an 11,000 loan for 36 months with APR 6 But if you take two calculators and go through these numbers, the loan monthly payment will be 33464 and total interest is 1,04704 Whereas if you lease it, the monthly payment is gonna be 41306 and total interest is 3,870… The cost of leasing is 3 times more expensive 🤯I understand, that’s the whole point to make things so complicated that they could get more money from you but still, so frustrating

I got a good question I leased a vehicle in August I still have not received my 1st bill or license plate ( until 2 weekd ago I went to tag office and got it myself) Today they called me back and said they want to redo contract that it starts today Everything stays the same but they are going to work in the current mileage into contract and I don't owe them any payments or fees for the last 5/6 months that I've had it That good deal? i m new to lease but looks like you need also to work out how reducing income tax will impact your potential tax back versus if you were to pay cash your car and therefore not paying an interest rate and owning the vehicule In your experience is it financially best to buy a car if you have the cash or still to lease it (when you include all tax benefits on both end) ?
