Have you tried the Bluedriver scan tool? It's similar to the ELM 327, it's $70 up front, no subscriptions unlike the Fixd, but it gives you a identifiX type of information right next to the codes it has read Common problems and fixes related to the given code So far has been decently reliable and very helpful! Thinkcar has a bluetooth dongle and software that runs thru your phone or tablet for about $100 that appears to be mostly functionally equivalent to the pro S except for network topology and live data graphing have to share a graph instead of being able to graph separately (both of which I've bitched to them about if one has the screen real-estate to accommodate those graphics)brbrI believe it's called the "think Diag" Comment from : Hooptie Rescue |
|
I have a thinkdiag dongle that I can do manufacturer specific scanning and bidirectional Comment from : bigdaddymak1439 |

I called thinkcar and they told me the thinktool proS does infact have chrome browser Can anybody confirm this Thanks Comment from : Travis W |

One of the expenses if you buy the lower priced Autel scanner is the cost of the updates which I heard are very pricey Might be best before buying any one of these scanners is to determine if you are willing to pay for the updates otherwise thanks for the presentation, nice to see them all lined up side by side Comment from : rich13la1 |

This might seem like a dumb question to you guys that do this stuff all the time Can any or all of these tools reprogram my speedometer larger than factory tire sizes? I have been looking at a tool for a several hundred dollars and all it does is calibrate the speedo I did a little research and found that the Autel will only let you program factory tire sizes Do any of these allow me to calibrate the speedo for 35" tires on my Jeep? Comment from : Ryan Tidwell |
|

What do you think about the autel ap200 dongle? I got mine to program keys for my maxima and i love it It doesnt do full bidirectional tests but it can show OEM codes and live data It sucks that you have to do yearly subscriptions for each manufacturer after the first one but it does a lot more than a regular obdii bluetooth dongle It's only around $60 Comment from : killaham411 |
