DO NOT GO with TRACFONE yesterday, i changed to a new provider, after a number of years with tracfone did autofill, never had any issuesi thought they were billing me 2 years in advance, which i proved by going through 2 years of bills they dodged every request concerning a refund of my balance, which i estimate is at least a years worth when asked for a number to corporate, i was given a number to a 'protection provider'? or hung up on so now, it's letters to the local BBB, and the FCC

Don't buy tracfone It used to be good Now they're no longer user-friendly I won't renew my contract when it's up Like the cable companies , they load you up with things you don't need (minutes,texts) , and screw you out of things you do need(data) If you run out of data , apps don't load This could be a safety issue , say if you're lost , and your Google maps won't load

I've been with TracFone for 17 years Been satisfied with them, but now that I use more data it gets expensive They have no unlimited data service plans And I've heard they may be eliminated as Verizon bought them up a couple of years ago and Verizon gobbled up Total Now it's Verizon Total

Don't sign up with this company They are straight up stealing from people without any shame whatsoever They will sign you up and in a couple months cancel your line When you contact them, they will tell you they have no record of your plan and that you need to purchase another plan I can type USAGE into the text message and it will report my plan and minutes having an entire year left But, they will only continue to say they have no record of your plan and you need to buy another They didn't use to be like this, something has certainly changed Safelink is no different, when you are talking to agent to resolve your problem after going through many telephone prompts, they will intentionally hang up on you in the middle of saying something like it was a connection problem sending you back through the entire process of contacting another agent After a couple times of this happening I realized it was intentional They are very likely collecting taxpayer money to provide a service they aren't actually providing It's total fraud

I get a new smartphone bundle from QVC or HSN when there is a good sale and have not had any problems transferring the service online and have accumulated lots of voice and text I am home on Wifi most of the time so do not use a lot of data The old deactivated phones are great mini-tablets!

I've been with TracFone for a few years now but I'm ditching them as soon as my minutes and text are out because they don't offer internet and now that Verizon owns them it doesn't make sense to me that they don't offer anything but a WiFi connection Would be nice to not have to switch to a different plan just to have internet The data is only good for sending and receiving pictures

They ruin the phones they offer by locking the bootloader down and guaranteeing it will become obsolete in 5 yearsbrbrOh, and don't get me started on the lack of OS updates! I hope you enjoy android kitkat, because a ton of their older phones are stuck on it!brbrI have an Alcatel a571vl that I'm digging into purely out of spite

It's hard to find just data or just text cards so I been buying them off the internet Be aware if your phone is like mine and has an extremely long service plan DO NOT BUY CARDS WITH SERVICE PLANS Because if you accept the new plan your old service plan is void

A child purchased a tracfone but did not enroll in the cellphone plan He now can afford to do so but wants to unlock the phone so he can have options Tracfone refuses unless he meets terms of service It is illegal to enter into a contract with a child so those terms should not apply to him Any suggestions?

it is 60 days to unlock your phone not 12 months straight, talk and TracFone change their policy not too long ago The unlock policy changed around November 2021 for all TracFone brands

Not to be mean but Verizon and TracFone are no good I was with simple mobile and last year they messed up my Sim card this year they done it again horrible service and customer service I recommend going with att prepaid I got the $40 plan and I'm glad I switched to them smh with anything running under Verizon towers or own by them
