Econ was not that hard at the undergraduate level tbh, just lots of algebra, basic calculus and a tiny tiny bit beyond that (partial derivatives) for the maths side The exams from what I remember were quite stressful, but what exam isn't? The key takeaway for any Econ major is not to just learn economics, which is very important and omnipresent within all of our lives, but how to THINK like an economist However there's no way Econ ranks higher than computer engineering, comp sci, Medicine, IB, no way I respect you computer guys, you are literally the future, and you will be richly rewarded Econ doesn't really give you a skill/trade, it just lets employers know you are somewhat capable Practice enough with econometrics however, maybe mixed with some python, bam, easily employable

As an electrical engineer, I would say the only engineering that is harder is chemical engineering Biomedical engineering seems to be around the same difficulty as electrical engineering in my opinion, but I could be wrong Computer engineering is way harder than mechanical or civil engineering It's like only a tiny bit easier than electrical engineering, since the majors differ by only one semester of coursework

There's absolutely no way that statistics is as hard as "learning a new language" It's just you playing with variables and most of the time Excel is doing the job for you Statistics is only hard when a shit ton of variables are in play and every outcome is accounted for It's time consuming Of course it is by no means an easy, but it's way easier than computer programming
