i feel like what made this movie is how uncomfortably quiet it is there is no grand score to accompany the tense scenes, there is no closing theme for the end, just a simple resounding silence its muted, conversations are low, no dialogue beats anyone would consider explicitly cinematic the film depicts the unfair nature of the world by being unfair to the audience itself we don't get to have even the dignity of a dramatic tragedy, of the closure of the hero going down righteously it doesn't provide us with the comfort of knowing that despite all of this it is simply just a grandiose narrative, something that doesn't happen outside of the screen in contrast to other films that up the level of violence as it goes this one desensitizes us, we don't even get to see the last death, it furthers the message of evil and chaos being so ubiquitous that it almost becomes banal in the end something that just happens whether it be in a deserted shootout scene or a house in the suburbs on a nice morning it elevates the tragedy of real life by reminding us that evil is almost an everyday occurrence this has always happened and it will happen again, and when it happens it will be quiet, it will not be like the movies, it will be anticlimactic, and most of all it will be unseen
