The 48-hour rule as if you read my mind I do this because I noticed how my mind works Very useful!
Comment from : @robbybobby4253

@venusb248
Nischa, I agree with most what you said These are brilliant suggestions For those who can’t live without hair or nails being done - I personally found mobile hairdresser who is 2/5 times cheaper than the salon procedure and for nails I go to cheaper places too The quality is just the same if not better 🫶
Comment from : @venusb248

@katerynafedorova6774

Comment from : @Ride_on54

@aimeeburgess6343
The 48hr rule has been a big one for me Especially if I am having negative emotions I had a big function coming up and was not feeling good about myself so i wanted to buy all these products such as a corset and make up But once i let it sit for a while and felt better i saw i would have wasted $300 on product i didn't really need or done much
Comment from : @aimeeburgess6343

@tetianagolovko5255
I had the same approach to cars almost two years ago I used public transport or car-sharing services But after russia invaded Ukraine in Feb 2022, I regretted not having a car I was unable to get out of the very dangerous place, I was stuck under the permanent bombing As soon as I came back to Ukraine after 6 mon of evacuation, I bought a car immediately, despite the car-related expences
Comment from : @tetianagolovko5255

@errol5603
I find you fascinating I greatly respect your principles and sound self-discipline
Comment from : @errol5603

@avjake
Motor vehicles are (typically) the worst investment anyone will ever make All they do is lose value Buy something used and reliable If you consider a vehicle to be a tool and not a status symbol, you'll be much better off The "impulse purchase" advice is also huge Several of my guitars have been impulse purchases, and the buyer's remorse has been very real
Comment from : @avjake

@user-vx6hs8tu9v
lol ı need only cach to be reach :) IF ı had 1 mılyon dolar a few weeks ago now ı had 5 milyon because Because I would buy a LINK and a SOL
Comment from : @user-vx6hs8tu9v

@roxxor3
i find this funny i just do this naturally without thinking too much about it the only thing i used alot of money is for my car i need one to commute but i dont need a tesla This car safed me alot of maintenance costs and "gas" costs tho taxes are cut in germany aswell so its just insurance and electrical energy which averages for about 130€ a month Sure a bus is cheaper but commuting with my car takes 10 minutes with a bus the same distance takes 45 minutes take that 2 times and u safe almost a full hour a day beside that i life just outside the city so my apartment is about 300 bucks cheaper than the same on in the city i work in So yeah the car "saves" me around 170 bucks per month (excluding depreciation) I dont intend to sell the car unless the repair costs get too huge when the warranty expires

@williamlee4179
Bulk purchase is SUCH a big money suck for me haha I spend so much buying in bulk because I think I'm saving, but perishables expire before I've gotten to them and non-perishables I don't need 1000 of to begin with
Comment from : @williamlee4179

@roberth3722
I’ve switched from burning large bills in my fireplace to cheaper $20 bills The flames look the same as burning $100 bills but I save a little money
Comment from : @roberth3722

@jacksampson7711
I could not live without a car I like nice things but still try to find deals I’m stilled amazed a men’s haircut at a barber is now 30 bucks!!!
Comment from : @jacksampson7711

@missroyalbtch
Awesome tips! Re spending on clothing for hypothetical events, another great option is renting if that is available in your area! I often rent my dresses to weddings, parties and trips much cheaper, more options, less clutter and no one will see me in the same outfit twice! 😊
Comment from : @missroyalbtch

@Yang1
great video, may i ask what's the pendulum wall clock in your living room? I really like it
Comment from : @Yang1

@widetube240

@drfill9210
48 hour rule can also be transferred into "hold it at the shop" If i want something, i grab it off the shelf and wander around with it in the shop 9 times our of 10 i have put it back within the hour
Comment from : @drfill9210

@scarytrek
I'd like to see a version of this video for the average suburban American male with a family Would be interesting to see what corners could be cut in that scenario

Comment from : @cheyennetan6928

@chinlisung
OMG i have a friend who does everything you said except for the book part I told her many times how she should cut back on some of those spending habits mostly because i don't see her life quality gets any better Her skin and hair are not much better than an average person with those expensive haircare and skincare And her apartment is full of stuffs with may expired food from Costco In my opinion that is a very mentally stressful environment to live in
Comment from : @chinlisung

@sommercoburn5911
I totally agree with you on the 48 hour rule, Home decor, and maintenance I thought I was the only person who can’t stand sitting still for the hour and a half Lol I do enjoy my monthly pedicures, I always tell them I’m in a hurry so they finish in 30 minutes 😂

Comment from : @JamesSaukila

@divya084
A thing that has saved me a lot of money over the years is not buying stuff during sales This may sound very counterintuitive to some - but I used to end up buying a lot of unnecessary stuff simply because it was on sale, and it ended up lying unused or I didn't really like it as much because it was not my style Now I buy items when I need them and have a clear list of them
Comment from : @divya084

@tennilledebysingh5819
I can relate to much of this, people should pick and choose what supports them best I've decreased significantly on purchasing clothing, jewelry, shoes- wearing what I have and love, no more books, no more household tchotchkes, and minimal self care treatments And this has happened in my 40s, good for you for realizing these things in your late twenties! I have never valued high end designer products simply because you're only putting money into that company's pocket and you are only losing Waiving a societal flag does nothing for you as a normal human being in the long run
Comment from : @tennilledebysingh5819

@42976675
Use the library
Comment from : @42976675

@jodiemarie9901
I think the best book hack is use 2nd hand online book stores People buy books and read them once and are done with them so it just makes sense to sell on and rebuy 2nd hand It could be a brand new book but when someone has read it once they wont want it anymore
Comment from : @jodiemarie9901

@istvan368
You're right about branded clothes (before watching your video) I also said to my friends that whoever wears branded clothes with huge logos, they are basically ads for that company and they even paid for those clothes Btw you're beautiful
Comment from : @istvan368

@Sonyacita
60 sec in and already gold
Comment from : @Sonyacita

@racheliza7604
This is great advice and so easily adaptable I have always been baffled by the ‘ look rich but be poor’ attitude and the pressure it must bring I manage a charity shop ( admittedly in a reasonably affluent area), but the quality of clothing that comes in is amazing, many with new labels still attached Definitely invest in quality items that are timeless, but only if you can genuinely afford it, would be my tip! I do bulk buy household stuff if it’s a great deal but otherwise pretty much with you on all of this
Comment from : @racheliza7604

@vienicestyles
I wish I could give up my car 🚙 It’s the biggest money pit I own Public transportation isn’t the best here in Hawai’i so I need my car 🚗 😣

These are fairly basic ideas, unfortunately the generation today has to be reminded of that (not their fault), thanks to the constant materialistic world we live inbrbrI would say though, don't forget to Live and enjoy your life too There are things and experiences you might only be able to do when you are young

@alessiafaggian999
The only thing I (partially) disagree are "transportations" brwhen I live in Italy, I must have a carbrwhen I'm in UK, public transports onlybrbrThe problem is that when I am abroad, i have still to pay taxes on my car left in Italy (stop and go insurance doesn't exist o if it does it's so expensive that is ridiculous)
Comment from : @alessiafaggian999

@seikocitizenwatches
Sounds good except not having a car I have been having cars all my life and will not give up on automobiles

Haha Literally sound like me I don't wear anything over $50 Statement pieces are basically all you need for furniture :) Awesome advice about summary books I'll apply that I loved you last advice Most women don't need that because they already are beautiful Great stuff
Comment from : @manruption7565

@Eisenbieger1986
Hey Nischa, i think Nr3 only works out for women in a City I think a car is a must have for men, but it is a wise decision to buy a used car for low money, which does not consume to much fuel I get the point, that it still needs money, but i think more flexibility and saving time to come from a to b is worth it For men to save time and money: Get a hair cutter
Comment from : @Eisenbieger1986

@annhans3535
That was my problem Buy clothes for event that I think will happen I now have a closet full of clothes with tags still on them I said to my self no buying clothes this year I have over 20k ebooks At an average price of 499 that's close to 100k This does not include the books that I have before ebooks But with books I feel like I need to own them 🙄
Comment from : @annhans3535

@travelcouple12

@nicolasbenson009
Building wealth from nothing involves consistent saving, disciplined spending, and strategic investments Begin by creating a budget to track expenses and identify areas for savings Prioritize paying off high-interest debt and establishing an emergency fund As you build a foundation, start investing in low-cost options like index funds, and focus on continuous learning and improving your skills for better income opportunities
Comment from : @nicolasbenson009
