Harsh Dokhale
I'm a complete beginner Should I buy low budget telescopes temporarily (under 10,000 INR) , or should I buy decent ( 20,000-30,000 INR ) now only ?
Comment from : Harsh Dokhale

Ian G
Pity about the loud music
Comment from : Ian G

Katiuscia O’Brian
Do you have a recommendation for a lighter telescope for beginners? I am disabled so this looks like it would be too heavy and I can’t sit on the ground or bend over like that for long Thanks!
Comment from : Katiuscia O’Brian

CulturedApple
I remember seeing the Andromeda Galaxy for the first time in 2018 with an old Meade ETX 125 I dug up I accidentally came across the Galaxy when manually aligning it because the Autostar system was busted best mistake of my life it wasn’t like what you’d see with photos from Hubble or Amateur Astronomers like you Astrobiscuit or ChucksAstrophotography it was a grey fuzzy blob it wasn’t amazing but it was there I’ll never forget it
Comment from : CulturedApple

Stephen
I recently bought a stellalyra 8 inch dob as my first scopeI used a 20mm eyepiece and decided to look at what I thought was a bright starI couldn’t believe my eyes as it was Jupiter and four moonsI could even see the bandsI will never forget my first time using my dobsonian!

Dusty11408
I just assembled my Orion XT-8” Dobsonian telescope this week and had some amazing experiences I live in Southern California about 50 miles east of Los Angeles While looking at the moon in the western sky just after sunrise I had a passenger jetliner out of LAX or John Wayne airport fly right thru my eyepiece and perfectly across the moon diagonally south to north as it ascended into the morning sky I pulled back from the eyepiece in complete surprise and watched it continue to climb for a bit What a wonderful treat Thank you for sharing your presentation with us It was well done Newly subscribed from Rancho Cucamonga, CA brTake care
Comment from : Dusty11408

anthony laporta
as a child i was amazed with the moon than shortly after i slowly expanded to other areas of space always a new experience
Comment from : anthony laporta

lwc2009
the Orion Nebula is the very first object I found when I was gifted a 3" table top telescope nearly 40 years ago I didn't even know what it was as I was simply hopping around and found it by accident took me a week to discover what it was that I had foundI just today ordered my AD8 and simply cannot wait for it to arrive so that my very first viewing with it will be the Orion Nebula seems a fitting tribute🌌🌠
Comment from : lwc2009

Billy
Is this the equivalent of the stellalyra f5 we have in the uk? It looks exactly the same
Comment from : Billy

Comment from : Bob A

__ BLUe - - BLOOd __
I love my 12inch dobsonian I always thought that bigger focal length is most important in a telescope Turns out I bought a ( Mak Cassigrain) 1900mm focal length by 6 inch apreture Great magnification but light gathering was ok but not great So I sold that one and bought a 1250mm focal length by 12 inch dobsonian It's a big boy but its totally worth it for brightness Its heavy but when I take it out I know it's going to give my very good light gathering results Even have a 2inch eyepiece that came with it
Comment from : __ BLUe - - BLOOd __

The Mad Murf
Looking at something as simple as the moon through a telescope for the first time can be a magical experience We see it so often that we don't even really think about it, but when you're viewing it magnified through a scope, suddenly there's depth to the craters and individual shadows, it's almost like you're actually seeing it for the first time
Comment from : The Mad Murf

Donald Kasper
You buy the tube/mirror assembly, instead of the rocker box Dob base, you buy a GS-4 equatorial mount, tube rings, vixen bracket, and put it to competent use Slamming around with a Dob base where finding things is by eye and tracking is not possible seems like a frustrating conclusion to spending $800 You should take one of those tripod mounts in the background, and show how this is done
Comment from : Donald Kasper

Star Gazer
To let people know The Apertura AD8 is back in stock at High Point Scientific Yes it is pricey but well worth it

Natural Green
Blackberry went out of business yesterday 2012-2022 RIP BlackberrybrThe thing all of these scopes are missing is app softwarre that allows photos and video recording Until that is available, I'm not buying one because as soon as I do, they'll start selling what I really want and make what i just bought obsolete Kind of like the Blackberry
