Great video as always Would love to get your take on where Schmidt–Cassegrain and Maksutov-Cassegrains fall in this spectrum The Cassegrains would capture less light, have minor spherical aberrations but they are more portable Could something like the Celestron 6se or 8se be a more expensive / portable option for viewing and astrophotography? Hello - a complete noob here I've researched for years, , but still a noob I managed to get a bit of Xmas bonus and considering a scope for deep-field photography I hate to ask, but I will - I'm looking at the Celestron NexStar 8SE and the Celestron NexImage Burst Color Solar System Imager - 10 MP usb camera The camera offers a 167 um pixel size and includes "stacking" software With carrying case and Celestron 14 piece 125" accessory kit (filters, etc) I'm in for roughly $2500 (or 2300-ish euro)brbrMy Bortle Scale is roughly 5 Is this too much scope for my area? Would a 6 inch be better? I'm liking to GoTo mount and StarAlign stuffbrbrMy boss, also just as much as a noob as myself, believes I won't get decent results from like an asphalt driveway because of vibrations Not sure Comment from : Kenneth Davis |
