Smoking is never allowed by landlords, and in today's economy, unlike the past, you can't expect to buy a home unless you're rich This basically means only rich people are allowed to smoke in their own home You, reading my comment, who are okay with this, do those boots you're licking taste better than American Spirit Blacks? Comment from : Frogman |
When my doctor asked if I smoked, I said: "I loved smoking when I was younger, and I think I'm going to pick it up again soon" And he just leaned his head and gave me that look like "are you serious?" Haha! Comment from : Lou Paulo |

picked up smoking in my middle teens when I found a fresh pack of unfiltered Pall Mall cigs that someone dropped on the ground Some people are disgusted the first time they try a cigarette and never touch tobacco again I had just the opposite reaction I loved the taste and the buzz right away (and still do to a lesser extent) Most of all, I liked the way smoking relaxed me I can so relate to the guys who discovered that smoking helped them focus and concentrate better in high school and college and to perform much better academically Would I have excelled and made it onto a good career path without the boost that nicotine that gave me? I seriously doubt it I also empathize with the marine whose smoking with his buddies helped them survive the stress of a combat environment In some ways my family environment resembled a combat zone that left me with a lot of anxiety and low self-esteem
brYou can write that off as a rationalization if you want, but for many of us smokers nicotine has been a coping device that we were grateful to have discovered during the hardest times of our lives Back in the day, there wasn’t a lot of therapy or even public information about developmental disorders On the downside, coping devices can have an ongoing impact even when they no longer serve their original purpose I tend to hold the view that “once an addict, always an addict” Not to say that we’re fated to spend the rest of our days in a cloud of tobacco smoke, but many of us (due to our genetic makeup or whatever) have an extremely hard time putting down our smokes and never picking them up again I’ve been able to quit for expended periods only to eventually resume the habit
brI’m not proud of my smoking but I’m not ashamed of it either I would never encourage anyone to start or judge anyone who had If I had it to do all over again, would I start smoking when I did as much as I did? If the circumstances were exactly the same, I’d have to say yes Sometimes there are just no great options Our YouTube friend who posted the video never says exactly why or when he began lighting up I have a hunch it was when he was in high school and found it helped to function at a higher level mentally He’s obviously a bright, articulate, personable guy who chooses to continue an activity he really enjoys despite its negative aspects At the end there’s a cool shot of him stretched out on the roof and relaxing with a red Me, I’m just content to share a morning smoke and a coffee with a good bud In my foolish younger days, I called it the “breakfast of champions” Comment from : James Server |
Lol Comment from : M K |
Does anybody know the name of the song at the end? Comment from : Sebi Tamas |
As someone who smokes weed every day for over 10 years i cam tell you You cant get addicted to to many things at once i tried smoming ciggs for 2 weeks over half a pack And i can just go right to weed anytime it lasts longer and i can function exaclty the same just calmer and longer effects Comment from : Michael Place |
No smoker thinks he's smart Those who are smart and have minimal self-control know what is good and bad for them Sorry, but I don't think a smoker can be smart, that contradicts itself So you can judge people for it Comment from : Video_Boy_Ai |
Damn near everybody in my family smoked very few people quit I quit, but only after they told me I was gonna get oral cancer if I didn’t have that going on I would’ve kept smoking I don’t judge though Comment from : Daron |

Shoot I started smoking when I was about 14 years old I ran the mile in 5:45 @age 16 and immediately after went to the parking lot grabbed my non filter luckies and lit one up teacher bitched at me and I asked him if he could run that fast Now after blown disc, knee dislocation, broken foot, I’d say it’s more difficult than ever to run a mile My rule is… if ya can’t run a mile under 9 it’s quitting time and if you run a mile under seven take a hit and go to heaven Dumb Ik Comment from : twistedgaming555 |

After 15 years of heroin abuse (2001-2016), I was able to quit when fentanyl flooded the scene This was admittedly made easier by the fact that real heroin became increasingly difficult to find And by some freak reason OxyContin fentanyl and most other forms of opiates/opioids could not penetrate my tolerance for these types of drugs So without the “real deal heroin” available, it was surprisingly easy to turn away from the rest It just didn’t work Don’t get me wrong, withdrawal was still a wicked wicked bitch… but with no promise of a high to go back to, I stayed the course brCigarettes on the other hand, are proving to be absolutely impossible to give upbrFor what it’s worth, I graduated with straight A’s, and I am a Mechanical Designer/ 3D CAD Technician I’m not super smart but I’m no dummybrI found this video to be very interesting and thought to share my 1st hand experience Comment from : Rob Allen |

as someone who has quit both tobacco and vaping for almost a few months now i realise how much life is better when not smoking sure, nicotine is a nootropic and makes the brain faster but only cuz you’re a lot more stressed than usual say whatever you want in comparing nicotine with caffeine but nicotine is wayyyyy more addictive and satisfying and that’s why i now steer clear and avoid it what i’m saying is that you don’t need a drug to make you feel smart, you can just be smart and not smoke lol quitting and letting your blood vessels grow back to their original size will not only make you smarter but make you alot healthier and clear headed sure nicotine might give you a snece of creativity and make your words more fluid whatever, you can totally improve apon your skills without it it just take time and patience as ignorant as it sounds it’s the truth 10/10 i hate nicotine nowbrbrbredit: it took me over a year to go from a chain smoker to someone who as of now hasn’t craved a cigarette in a just a month now Comment from : 2012 Honda Civic |

I smoke when I hang out in the sweaty tropical jungles of Asia with locals Removed from the environment, back in my bright air conditioned office, I have no desire to smoke It's like coffee, how many cups of coffee do you drink a day? How many cigarettes a day? Sometimes none, sometimes 5 But after eating a steak, it makes sense to inhale smoke because it makes life more delicious so I disagree with smoking bans in restaurants Comment from : Nick V |

We started smoking in high-school because smoking a cigarette would get you high That light headed buzz was the best feeling I remember searching with friends for half smoked cigarettes in public ash trays We would light the butt with a lighter just a little bit to "sanitize" it Lol you can't compare cigarette smoking to coffee drinking 🤣 Comment from : Filth McNasty |
OMG, I am so happy i quit smoking There is no smart thing about smoking and there are so many dumb people in this world who are smokers too Also, all the people showed in the video are probably super stressed and depressed, which is why they still smoke Simple as that PS Bob Marley was not a tobacco smoker Comment from : DSTRWLD |

• Just a couple of errors:br• You mixed Faces of stupid & intelligent smokers togetherbr• You mixed Faces of NON-Smokers & Smokers togetherbr• You mixed Faces of Low & High IQ people togetherbr• 'Smokers are seeking a Distratction not Escapism' is Big Tobacco Speakbr• Nictone is not gentle, it's makes a person jittery, feels like you just had ten terrible coffees in one stick & tastes infinitely worse than hardwood ashbr• Smokers are typically dumb, in Australia ONE CIGARETTE costs more than ONE US DOLLAR, anyone with a 3 digit IQ quit decades ago Australia puts an epic amount of TAX on smokes because people will get lung cancer treatment for free (It's a horrible socialist place, not recommended for hard-core Americans)br• Opiates take 7 days to quit, Benzodiazapines 56 days, Store bought, Pre-manufactured Cigarettes take a decadebr• In my experience, cigarettes made from pure, unmolested tobacco are TEN times easier to quitbr• br• ONLY STUDIES PAID FOR BY BIG TOBACCO show any 'benefits'br• There are no studies linking intelligence to nicotinebr• I recommend NICOTINE GUM based on my own personal experience Your slow method just keeps the bucks rolling in to big tobaccobr• Paid for by RJ Reynolds? You only mentioned Camelbr• YOU DO NOT SMOKE, You went to the roof top, lit one up & NEVER TOOK A DRAG!br• I AM CONCIOUS OF THE FACT THAT I REPLIED TO A TROLL VIDEO THAT ONLY PUTS MORE BUCKS IN YOUR POCKET So if you can, don't watch any more than the first TEN SECONDS that demonstrate him not lighting up a 'censored cigarette', but from 10:00 minutes onwards, you can see him NOT SMOKE Comment from : Tubby Lunchbox |

I don't smoke in family life But here are my triggers: Humphrey Bogart lighting one,brBruce Willis smoking on an airplane, Soul music (I'm obviously smokin right now)brSmoking rules Comment from : J T |
This is the smartest material I’ve seen on smoking br Why did so many people in the first half of the 20th Century smoke? Nicotine increases mental alertness and enhances physical performance It reduces anxiety and depression br According to studies, nicotine is not carcinogenic It’s the other chemicals in the smoke that damage DNA and are therefore carcinogenic br Successful addiction study and treatment plans for smoking addiction must be honest about these payoffs for the individual that attracts them to the use of tobacco Comment from : Rick Hoppe |
Smoking is dumb in itself so if you smoke you’re not smart because someone smart knows that smoking sucks Comment from : Yahia E H |
You abvously are not educated i mean, higher educated, specifically in addiction I do And everything you are stating is incorrect First of all the reason people smoke has nothing to do with intelligence look at the research 18 year old men who smoked were 75 points LOWER IQ scores So, the fact is less intelligent people smoke more Comment from : Stay Weird and Keep Gaming!! |
Ah the benefits of nicotine, a great drug if it hadn't come in such a deadly delivery systembrI don't know about smart people smoking more than stupid people brbrHere's what I know from the research done:br- schizophrenics, people with bipolar disorder, depression are disproportionately smokers --> what they have in commun is an imbalance of certain chemicals in their brain, that nicotine helps to regulate br- everyone has a voice in their head and chatter --> to some that chatter is too loud and nicotine will not only bring that chatter down, but will slow it as well, making everyday life much more bearablebr- nicotine helps to stop or slow down certain degenerative diseases like Alzheimer's or Parkinson's brbrThe question is not whether or not to consume nicotine, because alone, nicotine is not a powerful drug, will not alter a person's character or life, but how to get nicotine for the people who would benefit from it, without causing health problems?brThe patches, the gums or the inhalers do not work The delivery of the nicotine is not efficient enoughbrThere is vaping for which the scientific consensus of the moment is that it is 95 less harmful than cigarettes smoking Though this is true, and there has been 15 years worth of studies with no conclusive evidence of real harm, still there could be some long term effects that have yet to be uncovered Comment from : Nerd Analog |
Smoke Cigarettes are great Young? Smoke lots 30+? Cut back One a day at the perfect moment is a lovely thing Never stop smoking Comment from : Dustin Grant |

Some smart people smoke But all of them are foolish You don't have to be wise when you're rich And most visible money is made off of social skills Which is the same reason a lot of smart rich people take cocaine and alcohol Comment from : Jake Smith |

I've had recurrent chronic bronchitis for my whole adult life and over the past year it had become constant That went away immediately after I quit a month ago (using nicotine lozenges) and I remember that every time I think I would like a cigarette and that keeps me from wanting a cigarettebrbrI guess that sort of puts me in the catagory of hitting rock bottom But whatever I don't wanna be nicotine's little bitch anyway Comment from : SameAsAnyOtherStanger |
What is that song? Comment from : Elliot McNamara |
Been smoking since 1983 Got a chronic cough a few years back Might be a good time to quit?brNope Just added a 2-4 grams of baking soda into a 2oz pump sprayer of water and soaked my lungs once a week Feel better than I have in a long time so upgraded to sodium ascorbate (alkaline Vitamin C) No more cough and lung capacity is getting better If you're going to enjoy the damage at least compensate by alkalizing your lungs so your body can remove it Also good for forest fire prone areas for anyone which I also go through yearly Works in cool mist vaporizers toobrSo my coach, Dad and priest that said "God hates a quitter" would be proudI think Maybe not what they meant Comment from : Inverted Reality |
