Wow!! I love Dave Ramsey! This was a very good video!! It did help me to rethink how I spend money again there was a time in our life where we were struggling so bad to make ends meet and we started the snowball affect and within (2) years we were almost debt free! It was a miracle I’ve kinda gotten away from it and need to get back on it you’ve just encouraged me to do so thanks!

With the amount of info online today you can definitely learn to do your own hair bleaching, nails, and tan!! And selling all those clothes you might have in favor of quality over quantity and learning to properly launder clothes to make them last longer is huge Also I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about couponing, that can be SO helpful to save on household essentials and even build a small stockpile which is great to have during a pandemic

Taking a break now But to get “professionally” done, it was $70 each time Mind you you need at least 2-3 sessions to achieve platinum when you naturally have dark hair 😂 brbrAnd my “fancy” stuff is Up and Up, Method, Plant and BeautybrbrI agree with you guys! You just gotta slowly chip away Right now, we keep a $700 savings Slowly working up to the $1k barrier and we pay our tithes too Our oldest car is 11 years old but I will say in MD they really make you pay for an old car, insurance wise You have to pay an additional fee if your car is older than 7 and emissions test or they will block your registrationbrbrGreat tips!!! ;)

In my household we use Sling streaming service as well & it’s definitely a money saver however you still need WiFi access to use the app we only pay for Comcast WiFi & pay the $35 sling package there’s different channel tiers to choose from based on your preferences

BtwIF my friends left because I was making great changes in my life, I dont mean to be rude or heartless, but I would celebrate them going I would never want a friend who does not support and love me unconditionally My one friend just lost her husband, his funeral was last monthwhen her and her husband decided years ago to live simpler, they sold the home they built, many friends dumped them because they did not have the nice home anymore I also have a nice home I live in that we also built and if it weren't for our family size, I would sell the thing Still may if I can find a suitable option Stuff, homes, nice things fancy clothes, all of it means nothing I stand with my friend, still, as she is now a widow, because she matters, her kids matternot her title, income, and neighborhood, status, SHE matters, period After God and Jesus, people matter There is no uhaul after we die going to heaven with ussad people choose futile junk over valuing people

My husband and I started following Dave Ramsey’s methods when we first got married I think it saved us financially! We had multiple credit cards, school loans, car payments, and a boat loan Now most of it is paid off, on ☝🏼 income! we are still on one income and aren’t lacking anything we need We currently have a household of 6 people and 3 pets and are able to pay our bills and still splurge responsibly brWe do not use credit cards We are down to 1 mortgage and 1 car payment And my husband makes less than $100k a year That is NOT a typo lol It can be done brI coupon and get makeup free and its my retail therapy

This is hands down the very best video on this subject that I have ever watched I am a mom of 3, and my husband, and I finally said that enough is enough! I only made 1390 a month at my job, but it cost us 50000 a month for me to even be at work with childcare cost, not to mention gas For the past 3 weeks, I have viewed a TON of videos regarding saving, and making money in odd ways, and you guys have really inspired me that this is possible I know that I am lacking in some of the income I earned, but I have also learned that with effort, and determination I can cut cost so I dont need to worry that I lost income Thank you very much

My husband s family keeps insinuating I'm doing the wrong thing by staying home with my 2 toddlers little do they know that by me staying home ( until they go to school) we save so much money on gas, clothing, daycare and dining out We did the mathone of my sister in laws makes good money but is struggling so much because of 1500 in daycare top that off with "guilt gifts" she ends up buying to make up for time lost

We got pregnant with twins, knew it made sense for me to be home My husband hunted scrap metal and the next day I would take it to the recycling place Got rid of a truck, he got a job with a with truck so we got rid of his truck it saved us a truck payment gas and insurance payment There are ways to do the thing you really want to do, you just have to be determined to do it Pizza delivery or watching children in your home are a few other ways to increase income It takes sacrifice, but it is worth it!

I just cried with you at the end of your video because I too know what it is like to lose friends It’s crazy I never thought I could lose friends over things like money and status, but Satan uses those things unfortunately to drive wedges between people I guess what hurt me the most was when I lost friends when my twins were born so early at only 24 weeks We were in the NICU for 3 and half months and friends I never thought I would lose just dropped off the planet I still hurt over the loss of those relationships, but I try to remind myself that it’s their loss that they don’t care to know me and my miracles You’re right True friends will love you at your worst, as well as your best I would love some day to meet you and your family I have so much respect for you and your husband Keep up the great work here on YouTube! I was a stay at home Mom Raised two boys Hubby and I collected cans at the parks We collected scrap metal I babysat for women who did work but only during the hours my boys were at school We sold things Hubby worked on cars I did my own hair I did others hair I always had designer clothing before being married I gave it up So much more Like you said, my Hubby and I got so much closer doing all that together We didn't go by anyone's plan ( maybe I should have published one) we just did what we had to to survive and I wouldn't change a thing

We are debt free (again!) and it feels amazing! I have done a lot of things you have done to make extra cash (except collect golf balls, haha) I also buy items at thrift stores and resell them; it's how we paid to renovate our bathroom last summer! I wish I could be a SAHM, but unfortunately I am the one who works in our household and we need our health insurance I'd give anything to stay at home with my daughter!
