I think the M400 is a great looking and well built! Comment from : @johnskylez |
So the sig has the better barrel but the Ruger is the one your saying is the best out of all 5?😂 Comment from : @cbg482 |
I thought 416R was soft, and that's why most, if not all, aftermarket Glock barrels that use 416R use 1:16 twist instead of Glock's recommended 1:10brFurthermore, nearly 100 of the sales on barrels are 416R, and I assumed those were reasons 416R was inferior to 4140/4150 brI notice the same trend with slides brI also thought 17-4 SS was also a downstep from 4140/4150 Comment from : @5jjt |
VSO has an AR sale on his website right now, and it is an excellent value as I see it Comment from : @5jjt |
I had issues with my Tread after 3 mags, trigger reset problemSent it back, got it back, have run more than 2k rounds through it…no problem Flawless like butter brI’m kind of a slacker when it comes to maintenance, couple drops of oil instead of total breakdown Runs like a tank Comment from : @josephwilkins3982 |
Confused with the S&M being removed first I know it's like the "cool gun guy" thing to not like S&W M&P guns but it doesn't really make sense for a new buyerbrThe S&W comes with an MBUS sight, so you'll already spend less than the other guns on the table without buying a red dot The average or even intermediate shooter will never shoot enough rounds to wear down that barrel eitherbrbrThe others all need sights So you'll end up spending just as much anyways on the cheaper ones (Cheapest also needs a stock, that thing is terrible) Also, the accuracy of the Sig is unparalleled with its barrel out the box, but should mention that the handguard on that thing NEEDS to be replaced as soon as buying, it will heat up far too fast on a range day, that is NOT new shooter friendly Comment from : @IrishBiteGirl |
What about Dal-ton? Comment from : @Lovesergeon |
My ars i build ar never clunky with carbine gas systems ans ive built a dozen super guy Comment from : @user-kn4xw9ww8y |
Which one is more appealing to you: Radical RF-15 or Dal-Ton15? Comment from : @MrSonic1953 |
S&W M&P15 is a great entry level AR Easily upgradable and dependable out of the box Comment from : @evilnineteen |
Just bought a Windham Weaponry SRC 556 Out the door with an extra magazine was less than $500 Comment from : @rianray7565 |
Very nice overview Comment from : @paulbritton1436 |
That’s was a long intro Comment from : @smuniz9987 |
For any real life combat application having the flip up sights are essential Running an optic with no irons is not smart The MP would be my first choice add an aimpoint and replace the hanguard for sure Very common setup for police Comment from : @Roger-il8iw |
An extraordinary, well-made presentation of quality affordable AR-15 rifles 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Indeed, the IWI Z15 Tactical 16" (instead of the 125" SBR) is outstanding, of great quality, and performance, followed it by the well put together Ruger MPR 556 and the Radical Firearms RF-15, which it improved quality manufacturing throughout the years The Sig M400 is good but odd Comment from : @vgerman11b |
Which AR would you recommend for hunting in the 100-300 yard range? Comment from : @KaiAdventure |
I see doggies, I subscribe!!! Comment from : @imcacklinghere8693 |
Not sure how a red dot with an "old school" sight post has to do with anything Co witness is still a thing Ignorant I guess Comment from : @larrymedina9737 |
It’s a tie between best entry ARs for me…M&P Sport ll and the Ruger AR-556 I don’t even think they should be labeled as entry ARs They are both awesome and run like Champs Got em both Comment from : @thefza4670 |
Just one man's opinionI think he is wrong about the M&P 15 plus if he was a machinist he wouldn't be working in a pawn shopdo your homework folks 🇺🇲💪💪💪💪💪💪🇺🇸 Comment from : @JoseyWhales-ii4dk |
Of course he would pick the two most expensive AR’s on the table Comment from : @marcwebb9543 |
Cool, I have 2 of them Comment from : @outfitr9703 |
No PSA?! Wow Top notch entry level rifles Comment from : @michaelburgess6122 |
You left out PSA but included friken radical ??? Abhorrent ! 😌 Comment from : @ralphday4842 |
PSA makes the best entry level AR’s by a long stretch in my opinion Comment from : @PapaBoyd3 |
Thanks for the review This makes me wanna go with the Ruger for my AR And I was leaning MP15 before watching this video lol Maybe you saved me Murica’ 🫡 Comment from : @malinkifox2011 |
Probably gonna grab a Sabre from PSA Comment from : @WhyDidYoutubeDoThis |
All these rifles are great options, except the Sig I don’t trust Sig products, and with the other available options there is no reason to even consider a Sig The best rifle in this group for the value is the Radical RF-15, hands down You can find them for $399 all day long Comment from : @oleboy7615 |
Was that a key lock front door?? Oh shit Prefer a M 14 military grade Or Mini 14 cuz California against AR stuff Comment from : @jimcalifwin3760 |
Why pay more than 500 Comment from : @purewaterswva5409 |
I’m new to guns - is it worth buying a high-quality expensive gun that you’re paying a premium for in whatever fashion bc it’s more likely to hop, if not gain it’s value? So when you want something new you can get your money back brbrAs opposed to a cheap AR where you likely aren’t making money back from it Thoughts? Comment from : @Bugdeek |
Brush, copper gun powder Comment from : @bily4566 |
I've had Ridgebacks all my life ❤ Comment from : @kentuckyboy541 |
PSA makes the best budget ARs hands down You can even get them cheap as $400 if you buy the upper and lower separately when they're on sale, and you can get a FN CHF barrel and a rifle that rivals bcm/dd for just about 1k with their sabre series Comment from : @bandolando3265 |
I think the front post on the M&P Sport 2 is dope Gives it a character Comment from : @ultimatelv27 |
Have a smith and Wesson M&P Sport 2 love it Comment from : @Lionstacker |
I just wish the populis would quit calling them assault weapons ! They are home defense or target armaments , they keep getting a bad rap , I own one and love it even though it’s an MP entry version , they are so accurate for what it is , all I need without breaking bank for looks and feel Comment from : @ericremme7589 |
Ar15’s are so easy to replace the barrel that I always considered that a non issue If you shoot enough to wear out even an unlined or untreated barrel you’ve spent thousands of dollars and can justify buying a new one to put on in your garage in an hour or two Comment from : @ocalapistolero1212 |
Everyone hates on radical but to be honest I love mine Paid 539 for it and put about 300 in upgrades in it Got my green tips and it runs great Comment from : @Pizzakedd32 |
Can I ask the community for an opinion of an FN SRP G2? Comment from : @DrDeez-xc4fh |
Happy with my Andersons, no problems at all Machining marks on BCGs and inside of receivers make no difference in performance Cheapo clamshell hand guards are extremely lightweight and do a great job of heat dissipation Maybe I'm old school or a minimalist, but give me the basics such as iron sights, mil-spec trigger, OEM stock etc and I'm a happy guy Comment from : @avdmustang |
NO DB15??? Comment from : @nickzimonja3382 |
What about the psa Comment from : @frankrodriguez4604 |
Get what you can afford to train with The End Comment from : @jims512 |
Great video! Definitely agree 👍🏼 Comment from : @KC--1776 |
I got the colt ar 15 for 78825 love it Comment from : @timbarton2313 |
I can’t wait to get my first AR I’m familiar with pistols but ARs are a new ballgame for me so I’ve been trying to decide on one that doesn’t break the bank because it’s going to be a home defense gun and will most likely stay in the closet unless I take it to the range Comment from : @whodat3288 |
Surprise, surprise, the gun shop owner says the lower end AR is no good, buy the higher end, higher priced one Hmmmm🤔 Comment from : @SmittySpeaks |
You can get a PSA saber for $799 and a PSA basic for $499 Love my saber Comment from : @nunya5767 |
I got a Radical arms rf15 and have had 0 issues and love it frankly Comment from : @chexx5184 |
Solid options but I have a bias towards palmetto or bear creek AR's for the entry level price point Usually come with nicer furniture at a cheaper price point and are accurate enough that the extra money you could spend on an AR can go towards ammo Comment from : @davidbhyss |
Rugger or zion What should my friends first pick be price dont matter for under 1k Comment from : @rblsant3521 |
I built my radical with a Romeo and Juliet red dot and 3x magnifier, GBRS sling system, ambi BCM charging handle, BCM vert grip and Qzark rail light for $1200 Runs great! Comment from : @chaddover4287 |
Seriously? Entry level? I agree with @crusader777 If SHTF happens, I don't think anyone will be looking for a brand name when they pick one up to defend themselves, their family, or their home Comment from : @temperedstate8963 |
Good info thank you Comment from : @justthomas3565 |
Where is psa ? Radical has bad rep eww Comment from : @gamepada |
Solid vid ! brThx for the assistance ! Comment from : @Taiterdee |
😎💪🏽💪🏽 Comment from : @Taiterdee |
Got a PSA to learn on and upgrade stuff PSA is the Squier of ARs Comment from : @shreddymerks |
Some great points - things I would never have thought of Looking for my first AR Thank you Comment from : @williammorrill8268 |
Thanks for the info…looking for my first one and helps to learn more about these Comment from : @SkunkNWindow |
All these prices in California im pretty sure dont exist, im screwed😂 Comment from : @adamkelly7709 |
My MP 15 came with a crimson trace red dot and a picatiny gas block Love that thing! Yes optic got tossed for a better one and that plastic handguard had to go immediately for a cabine length quad But i trust my life with that rifle Comment from : @johnspartan3405 |
Very helpfull! Comment from : @OverDriveSpecial1 |
Was that a Ridgeback in the beginning? Love seeing other people with them, such a great breed Comment from : @Wallcrawler616 |
I use an M&P Sport and it runs great I’d like to try the M&P Sport II Comment from : @user-ny3wh2jv9g |
Love your dog My ridgeback is 19 months old Good boy Comment from : @robreilly2443 |
I bought my 2nd AR and it was the ruger 556 and it is well made and shoots great My first was the Sig m400 (non thread) and the ruger is probably $600 dollars cheaper but honestly it shoots just as nice Comment from : @rking8416 |
Thoughts on the DPMS Oracle? Comment from : @bocephus219 |
Proprietary AR10s --15s, stay away from them, period With any AR15, you can upgrade them to a better BCG-"LM&T" ($520), but they are worth every PENNY! Upgrading to a better barrel by "Criterion Barrel", or Ballistic Advantage barrel Comment from : @rudolphferdinand3634 |
Your approach and honesty and straightforward This makes this a wonderful video Thank you 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Comment from : @BlackNAVYAmericanVET |
I got the Danial Defense R111 I also got the AR10 from Danial Defense DD5 mil spec * as my first AR’s at the same time though the got to me about a month apart They are beautiful weapons Though I don’t think I’m going to shoot them I have not shot an ar/ m16 in over 20 years since the military These are the first ones that are mine Comment from : @alexbanks7115 |
Idk why i take it personal when Palmetto, Anderson, and Bear Creek dont make it to these "budget" videos I do however agree with S&W and Radical Comment from : @michaelmoses4019 |
I bought my first AR a month ago Went with the Ruger 556, I love how it feels, great for a chill day at the range Honestly super happy to know I picked good as someone who had no idea what I was looking for in my first rifle Comment from : @Slimjim2147 |
Does the springfield saint fall into entry level? If so why is it not on the listis it not any good? Comment from : @chadhouse8368 |
Springfield Saint Victor is solid Comment from : @kiefervoorhees8975 |
People need to understand that ar15 rifles are built to a military spec No need to pay extra for a fancy name They are essentially all the same Comment from : @falcorthewonderdog2758 |
wish i could buy just 1 of those all illegal damn my state Comment from : @davidmontagpf5589 |
They’re all solid options, in my opinion the Zion 15 is the best for its price point Comment from : @889976889 |
They should stop describing barrels as being able to shoot "X" number of rounds before wearing out, and tell people it would cost them $25,000 of ammunition to do so instead Comment from : @ajustice4all |
How about the Modern Material Patrol Rifle AR15? What do you think of that one? Comment from : @punisher32 |
Ruger Mpr is good enough or anything around that price and save money for an optic Stop listening to the ar snobs because you will never think you have one good enough if you do Comment from : @yamahschector |
the Radical is now almost 700 Also I worked at SiG, they run at 100 to pump out as many guns as they can So no it's not just cheaper guns Comment from : @dakawans83 |
My MP15 is 6k round in with no issue but I have changed the BCG to nickel boron and I have a PSA upper I keep as a spare the PSA is 115" so it doesnt get shot as much Comment from : @trentonfiffia8063 |
Was wondering why the Springfield Saint didn't make your list ?? Comment from : @richardbrewer8301 |
I started out with AR's about 7-8 yrs ago Took a class at my LGS on building lower receiversbrStarted buying kits from PSA (Palmetto State Armory)and built probably 10-12 in 556x45 and a couple in 762x39(including AR pistols) Bought an ATI 9mm ar pistol and an Armalite AR10brBut as far as AR "15's", I'm perfectly happy with EVERYTHING I'm bought from PSA (including my Dagger)brI had "1" problem with a PSA upper about 3-4 yrs ago and it was handled quickly and professionally They took care of everything and I had it back in "6" days I consider that "Great Service" Veteran owned and operated and committed to putting quality firearms in the hands of as many Law Abiding American Citizens as possible You can put together a PSA AR for about $500 But I am starting to pick up a couple of Nickel Boron BCG'sbrAnd personally, "I" prefer the A2 front sight post There's NO Prolem running an optic plus you have the bayonet lug (I have bayonets) Comment from : @marknorwood7521 |
I got the M400 Tread 3 years ago Fantastic rifle and the ambi features are great as I'm blind in my right eye The handguard is something I replaced I swapped it with the 15" Sig handguard with mlok/heat relief slits down the entire length as opposed to the factory handguard which gets really hot after 4 or so mags Aside from that, a great entry level AR It's a very accurate and reliable firearm Comment from : @1977Yakko |
You have a black mouth cur! We got ours by accident in 2018 Just the easiest dog I’ve ever had I’m a huge fan! We call him our personal therapist 😄 Cheers! Comment from : @bighaasfly |
My first was an LWRC IC-SPR Not what you call entry level or basic It's full ambi but I didn't see that as an issue using non-ambi control systems on other platforms Comment from : @smptactical259 |
I shopped for a while before buying the Zion-15 I shot a lot of rifles at the range before choosing it, but when I picked it up and shouldered it, I knew I wanted it After firing a few mags through it, I was completely hooked I put an O ring between the upper and lower, and now it shoots like a much more expensive rifle A friend with a Daniel Defense AR-15 was blown away when he shot the same group with my Zion at 100yds Comment from : @robertfrapples2472 |
Let's not forget bear Creek arsenal Awesome gun for the money! Comment from : @andrewvero4233 |
PSA $549 price and quality unmatched Comment from : @yodatrdor9153 |
good video thank you Comment from : @Warhammer77 |
What’s the difference from mid length and carbine length? Comment from : @brandondane4777 |
Mine was a Smith & Wesson M&P15 TS with a 16 inch barrel Comment from : @Onix_2022 |
my first AR was a smith/wesson M&P Paid just under $600 for it back in 2018 Its a decent rifle for what it is Ive since built all the rest of the ones I have but I still have that one Comment from : @jeffhdpd782 |
Don't buy an AR Build your own Comment from : @PaulM-kc2tk |
