I bought an ounce of gold from moneymetals website I had it for a couple years I just sold it to a coin dealer because I needed the money Naturally, I got less than spot price Because everyone in the industry is out to get you However, when the guy tested it with his little machine, it kept showing 22k He still gave me the price he quoted for the pure gold bar So which is more likely? Could the machine be off, and he has been ripping people off with their precious metal sales? Or could the website have ripped me off with my purchase? They're supposed to be a reputable dealer It could also be a ripoff from the Asahi mint that wasn't tested by the dealer Either way, somebody is not doing the right thing
