Silver is a SCAM They sell over spot and buy under spot lowballing you They say it's a way to keep your money safe but with JPMC stomping down the price and metal dealers low-balling you on sell-back you're guaranteed to lose real money Better to do something useful with it that will put money in your pocket instead of taking up space in your closet

If I need to barter silver in an crises silver will be useless People will barter food, shelter, guns and ammo Silver will be laying all over the roadside where people tossed it because it was too heavy to carry Who will know if it is real? I can see it as a good thing to have for some reasons like passing wealth to your kids or making a treasure hunt for people to locate your wealth To barter, NO For safety if you loose your job, keep cash on hand, inheritance, avoid excess taxes, etc it is a good thing as a part of a strategy for emergencies Know what you are doing BEFORE you collect silver It is a great hobby and I love silver coins as a stacker As an investor, if my money does not increase its buying power and double in wealth every 7 years, it is a bad investment A quarter that can buy a gallon of gas in the 1960's and still buy a gallon of gas in 2023 is a BAD investment but it is a great hobby So, buy gold & silver but for the right reasons

I see a lot of recommendations on coins but what about the bars? I like silver for being silver so I stay away from coins and simply go for genetic bars like the 1kg and 100 oz bars Bars are not just a store of wealth, but they are aesthetically pleasing and weighty to hold and admire One of the other draw factors for me to turn to silver rather than gold is that with silver being scarcer than gold above the ground and with more industrial use for silver and more silver ending up in landfills, silver can only get rarer and more expensive

Question: if you have silver that was purchased around $15 dollars, would you sell and repurchase gold? It seems the gain in the future is higher on gold than silver It’s like selling a 1000 shares of a low priced stock and buying 500 of a better stock with the hope of it moving up faster than the other shares?
