I thought differently - professor to be the last and you to be one to cross bridge assuming that only 1 minute left, you can cut the ropes when zombies are in middle of bridge

why do you need a lantern to walk in a straight line with "fences" on the sides? just shout when you are on the safe end so the other group of people can start walking the bridge :)

I would have not worry too much about it, the zombies would have all attempted to cross at the same time and therefore have destroyed the bridge in the process

All answers are moots do to zombies doesn't have the lantern 🏮, have wobbly gaits, and don't follow the rules crossing 2 at a time, so the rope bridge collapse and all zombies end up in the gorge First time TED's education failed the masses

You could also have the professor just hold the rope and cross in the dark, while the others cross one by one

I'll go on with the lab assistant and come back leaving her at the other end, when I get back there I'll have 12 minutes left I'll let the janitor and the professor go with the light Once they get to the other end I still have 2 minutes to go through the darkness and reach the other end

Why collapse the bridge when everyone has crossed? With all of those Zombies on it, won't they make it collapse on itself? More than two people at a time causes it to break, so with all of those Zombies on it, they would do the work for you

I'm sure a lot of people must have already commented so but the solution in the video is not the only one It also works if the Lab Assistant (instead of the Internship student) comes back with the lantern (I'm referring to this part of the solution: 2:37 )

I don't understand the point of cutting the rope, coz if you've crossed the bridge, zombies will be coming together and since the bridge can contain 2 people at a time, the bridge will automatically break!

Since this is a riddle lets assume the times are very exact, the intern just runs back and forth every minute like a clock, just make sure you bring the janitor last since he's the odd number, the intern can cross the bridge 17 times while holding the lantern
