I feel like I am always thinking of why the shadows exist in the first place I'm constantly questioning society and it's arbitrary rules and why things can't be done in a more efficient and easier manner Lazy people are actually efficient thinkers if we are allowed to be flexible in our thinking It's sad that society forces us to be in the cave when reality is just behind us

I would argue that simply being here watching this video requires certain personality features (curiousity, awareness, general understanding of societal failings, skepticism, etc) that are far more likely to result in leaving the cave than those who aren't here, or on similar videos

This concept is very scary when you apply it to real life Even if you have escaped your cave, whatever that may be for you, how do you know you're not in a bigger cave? You might say, "of course I'm not in a cave Everything thing I know and believe is true" But the prisoners inside the cave thought the same thing The truth is you can only see the cave from outside No matter how many caves you've escaped from, you can never truly know if you're not still inside one

Socrates was possibly labeled a terrorist a criminal and his case was argued as such enough so to have people vote to have him executed, (in essence his death teaches us the greatest lesson of democracy failed) when fools rule and they get enough people to express the will of fools every a thinking man can and will be labeled a terrorist criminal, so as to maintain their control and order no matter the cost no matter the sacrifice COVID was just a piece of what and how far some of the ruling fools would be willing sacrifice to justify their means even if it meant means clinging to lies, life is regarded as nothing in their eyes There is no one to great or small citizen or not, that they will sacrifice to maintain their views and social order

I truly understood plato’s allegory through your videos According to me when the prisoner was released he had a choice to move towards light that signifies love discipline thought freedom etc or stay with the other prisoner to look only at the shadows which refer to as the sad truth about our reality that is fake love , fake beauty standards , oppression etc but even if you try to enlighten the people they will judge you and become hostile against you instead of just looking at the shadows which refer to the fake pleasure we should go out in open and create something

I think we all just go in and out of the cave whether we choose to or not Nobody is going to be forever out of the cave because we all have some silly blunders driven by ignorance The cave can still be entered after leaving But you can always find your way out again

The only ones who have escaped the cave are primary food producers He see's the sun but doesn't realize that the plant's are using photosynthesis to break down the energy of the nuclear reaction in the sun So the wood burning in the cave used the sun's energy but more importantly the ones who made the chains and animal figurines and fed them used the sun's energy by eating plants and animals that ate plants This is why I think primary food producer's should be the main debt holders in society Anyone can find or become a primary food producer and from there once they are self sufficient food wise they can split up the rest of the labor and time to spend on doing what they find most fulfilling all while being unchained and chasing real truth!
