Many years ago my music teacher gave me an assortment of cassettes taken from a clinic on creativity by Barney Kessel At one point Mr Kessel talks for a while on visualising a cup of coffee I was too young to understand the object of the exercise, too impatient to just get down and play, to benefit much from the talk, but I wish I still had those tapesbrBecause today I realize that creativity and having the chops to express that creation, as being the most important aspect of any musical endeavour
