Thank you for all this great information! My son appealed to Admission for more merit-based help I'm appealing to Financial Aid, but my income hasn't really changed, it has actually increased a bit, but we are living in a tight budget still So I'm applying anyway, I don't think it will hurt me because we didn't get any financial help from Fafsa, only 2 universities scholarships My question is if my son's appeal to admission for financial help gets rejected, and I want to appeal to the rejection, do I go to the admission office or to financial aid office You mention that is important to establish a relationship with them

You're always so helpful! Thank you Question: when talking to Admissions for hopefully more scholarship money Does the scholarship need to be a high dollar amount or would percentage of cost be acceptable? How would you phrase some of these things? We had one school give zero merit scholarship but an equally priced and rated school gave almost 84 in scholarship and aid Can we phrase it with the $ amount we need at the end of the day to pay out of pocket if one school costs less overall so our out of pocket is less but both schools gave the same percentage of scholarship? I'm sure I made this way more confusing LOL brbrThanks for always communicating so clearly!!

Why do college give little to no scholarship or grant money to transfer students My son graduated in 2020 but do to the pandemic attended a community college However, the university he is transferring to had previously offered a great scholarship Now, he is over literally nothing outside of a few loans Is there anything I can do appeal this? thanks and enjoy your content It is so helpful
