I truly don’t want to talk out any loans The school has a scholarship but one of the qualifications is 12 credits, right out the gate That’s too much for me, I work full time How do you find some of these scholarships online? Would this be the same for graduate school? I got accepted into a public health program and was offered $10k for a scholarship, which I have to reply in one week! But I’m still waiting to hear from two other schools! I really like GWU because they have the concentration that I’m interested in… just don’t know if should wait or accept it? I generally don’t want to go to school in state, or in California at the huge and overcrowded UC’s So I’ve been looking into Private out of state universities that meet 100 of a students demonstrated financial need However there’s one big caveat, I’m going to attend a community college for my first two years so I’ll be a transfer student Some colleges like Boston University meet 100 of financial need for students, but only for freshman undergraduates Would there be a big difference in the amount of financial aid offered by a private institution since I’m a transfer, and if so how would I find that out? |
This video was so helpful and easy to understand Let's say the cost of tuition is 30,000 and you get 25,000 total in financial aid Assuming you accept all the money, can you choose where the money goes first? I'm asking because my school has a thing where if you make below a certain amount they will pay for tuition and fees after all financial aid is exhausted, but this does not cover room and board Can I put all the money into room and board and have the school cover any remaining tuition and fees, so that i don't have to pay anything? Comment from : Erica a |
