Thank you so much for informing us about the financial opportunities to go to school That was my concern! I truly don’t want to talk out any loans The school has a scholarship but one of the qualifications is 12 credits, right out the gate That’s too much for me, I work full time How do you find some of these scholarships online? Many website are not legitimate

Would this be the same for graduate school? I got accepted into a public health program and was offered $10k for a scholarship, which I have to reply in one week! But I’m still waiting to hear from two other schools! I really like GWU because they have the concentration that I’m interested in… just don’t know if should wait or accept it? I do have $60k loans for my undergrad

Does it make a big difference if one community college charges 3898 annual fee, and another 5,998 does that mean if I choose the lower cost one, can the remaining aid go directly to me

I'm going to be a grad student next year, and I'm attending a private university I already have some student loans, but undergrad school gave me a ton of scholarships However, my new university gave me a small department scholarship and said they have no other scholarship options or grants available tho it is a private institution I'm really frustrated!

I generally don’t want to go to school in state, or in California at the huge and overcrowded UC’s So I’ve been looking into Private out of state universities that meet 100 of a students demonstrated financial need However there’s one big caveat, I’m going to attend a community college for my first two years so I’ll be a transfer student Some colleges like Boston University meet 100 of financial need for students, but only for freshman undergraduates Would there be a big difference in the amount of financial aid offered by a private institution since I’m a transfer, and if so how would I find that out?

Comment from : Ruchi Teotia

This video was so helpful and easy to understand Let's say the cost of tuition is 30,000 and you get 25,000 total in financial aid Assuming you accept all the money, can you choose where the money goes first? I'm asking because my school has a thing where if you make below a certain amount they will pay for tuition and fees after all financial aid is exhausted, but this does not cover room and board Can I put all the money into room and board and have the school cover any remaining tuition and fees, so that i don't have to pay anything?
Comment from : Erica a
