You are right SS but with high buying price comes with high selling prices , 2 months back when i got the eagles for 27-28 compare to 23 -24 generic round is a good example of it I spend a bit more but im go more profit for selling a few I regret selling them even if is on 3 but it is just the way things are sometimes

You’re actually getting 50 more silver for the same price (not 33) 10:15 or 1 to 15 (ratio) is a 50 difference You created an optical illusion by grouping 3 stacks of buffalo vs 2 stacks of eagles and your brain automatically went to “thirds” But yeah, I’ll take the Buffalo rounds please

I haven't bought a business strike ASE since March of 2020 I absolutely refuse to pay these premiums Even finding generics at 3 or 4 dollars over spot is ridiculous I don't expect to get back to Eagles being $2-3 over and generics being under $1 over any time soon but my stack isn't increasing much at all in the meantime

Eagles are actual currency backed by the government In a SHTF, your average joe is going to trust you more if you barter your eagles first than a generic round Unless they know what to look for I can’t imagine how many people can barter 100s of different coins

Two things: 1) You have to account for the dates on the Silver Eagles The older the date, the more you can get when you sell 2) The reason ASEs have a high premium is because they are the most sought after bullion You can go anywhere in the world and sell your ASEs With generic coins, not so much Silver eagles are the way to go

For someone with just $500 I would purchase 100 of our US State, National Park and US Territories proof silver quarters Some LCS's are selling them for as little as $490 apiece, after they have been removed from their US Mint plastic cases This is the smartest silver buy around, in my opinion They have future numismatic value and are awesome looking with their highly mirrored fields and frosted surfaces

Very nice video, @Silver Seeker I like everything you said The only problem is this: I feel nothing when I buy a generic buffalo, however, I feel euphoric and giddy whenever I get my hands on an American Silver Eagle! Hence, I'm stacking ASEs hard right now And I think, if we ever were in a SHTF scenario, my 1 ASE will get me more mangos at the neighborhood market than 1 generic buffalo round, because it'll always have more of a prized value when compared to a generic round Anyway, great discussion! br-Weekly

Not to play devil's advocate, but if SD Bullion; a highly-reputable corp is paying huge premiums for silver eagles vs miscellaneous silver rounds, there must be a reason why they're doing so They wouldn't be paying such high premiums on silver eagles if they didn't 'expect' to make a future profit by reselling them, as they certainly know much more about the market than the average silver investor Just sayin'
