Taking care of your mental health and not putting too much on your plate is important, but you also need to remember that you need to maintain balance You cannot cancel plans every time with your friends in the name of mental health, because that will eventually leave you without friends and probably deepen your issues On top of that, not communicating with your friends why you have to take a day off could be problematic They might begin to think that they arent liked and will start to withdraw from your friendship That's just a little something that I've learned, having been on both sides of that scenariobrbras always, thank you for such an informative video

But there is some check out the fox things in life that people are better off doing Such as it’s better for women to have children in their 20s they think they have forever to have children And life isn’t as messy as you say it is If you come from a Background with no structure, that’ll be messy But there are plenty people come from the life with some structure and their life isn’t as messy because they had that structure Sounds like to me you’re just saying stuff to make people feel good

#5 the relationship you have with yourself is the most important one you’ll ever have! So I learned this pretty late in life after I had basically destroyed my self esteem! I thought I was “getting away with” all kinds of stuff because I never “got caught” HOWEVER my subconscious mind was secretly recording EVERYTHING! So once I stopped using alcohol and drugs at age 34 and the fog cleared up I was terrified to discover I hated myself! (for many years I was clueless because I was delusional/ insulated by a huge ego) I’ve been working really hard for 15 years to clean up the mess! It’s not a path I would wish on my worst enemy

Everytime i hear your videos, i feel be motivated As this time, i feel bored, sad about my job, my relationship and i choose to listen to this video and i feel better i not only can pratice english listening skill ( I'm Vietnamese and I'm not very good at english) but also I have more motivation I do one thing at a time and focus doing it This morning i have already done 2 tasks and i feel very comfortable My another problem is that I care for many things others think about me It makes me tired, anxiety and less confident I fear to speak up and express my opinions

Got a doubt from #1 Lesson:brI'm in love with a woman I met at a club I'm at Though by the time I fell for her I realized she's taken soon after I would've just moved on but I had some signs her relationship might not be doing too well Since the way I found out she's taken wasn't by her talking about him to me casually, but instead trying to say hello throughout text he took her phone and send me over a picture of himself Ever since that and a few more things that were going on that made my belief grow bigger, I've decided to wait for a while until something happensbrbrWould it still be a good idea to just approach her and tell her how I feel, or just wait for a more decent time / let things be the way they are?

i actually have experienced "one thing dramatically changing the course of your life" twice in high school, i taught myself HTML and the foundations of CSS and wanted to go into web design but i couldn't master javascript on my own and there was no one to tell me what to do or how to get there in order to position myself to be a successful web designer i went to college, wasted 2 years on a "web design" degree that didn't actually teach me any web developing, and at that point i fell off the wagon and got so far behind i had no hope of ever catching up and establishing myself in that career i switched majors to psychology, because being a therapist was also something i was highly interested in but again, no one told me "to be a therapist you need xyz" i graduated and found out i would need grad school, and it was too late to apply for that year i tried taking a couple of grad classes at a private school but not only could i not afford it, i couldn't keep up while working the full-time job i now needed to pay my bills if i had known to go straight from undergrad to grad school, i could have applied for fellowships and on-campus grad housing while i completed my degree but for the second time i came to a fork in the road with no signage on the correct path, and i chose the wrong way, and lost my opportunity i'm middle-aged now, and i will never make anything meaningful of my life it's too late

While all these mentioned above are true or mostly true in some shape or form, none of them are what "people learn too late in their life" In fact most of the things are so trivial that everybody knows them already even if they are not thinking about them You can highlight the importance of these wisdoms or principles, but you don't need to exaggerate or go to a hyperbole to make your point Finally, while you are just rushing through all these principles, you never actually recommend anything that someone can take away or can do differently to have a more wholesome life experience
