I went to my local coin shop on Friday and brought about 64 indian head cents, all were from 1900 and up except for an 1888 and also in the 1900s there was a corroded Indian head cent with all of Liberty showing and had great details

I have to stop and think when I buy "estate" rolls While it is probably true that the Ebay seller did not search to rolls we all know the estate owner cherry picked them before rolling! Cool anyway!

That is cool! I just bought a private estate penny roll I was surprised to get 4 Indian heads a steel43 and a few other nice ones I lost money but I love old coins - Oldest in this roll was 1898 Indian

Honestly, with the fairly worn (but still legible) Indians, I like to use those in the penny-stretcher machines It's a unique way to add to my books of stretched cents, esp when I can get the date to still show
