That foreign coin was very familiar to me here in the UK Its a British penny The year 2000 saw mass striking of all British coins, including the penny So its extremely common The backs design is based on the badge of the first Tuder king called Henry the 7th Its also found all over the palace of Westminster Recently, here in the UK, there was discussion about withdrawing the penny from circulation It's so incredibly worthless now, most pennies are only used in one transaction before being thrown into a copper jar and forgotten about Its costing the Royal Mint more than a penny to make a penny Watch this space, the UK might follow the Canadians and ditch the humble penny from circulation It really is so worthless nowadays Interesting find for you Rob! Hey Rob I've been hunting customer wrapped only for quite a while now You find about the same amount as machine wrapped but with 1 HUGE difference In customer wrapped you can often find peoples collection dumps! It's random but it does happen Just last week I found 4 buffalo nickles in only 1 roll! Also there will be more foreign coins since the machine that wraps them will separate the foreign coins Cool video none the less! Comment from : sgtscarab1470 |
