There are no pay to win game, there are only pay to play games and free to play games No one wins in a game that you pay, but you don't win anything, even if you're a top player in that game, you only get merit inside that game but not outside the game Except to those free to play game like Valorant for example, it gives you skills, E-sports, and fame in streaming (if successful)

PAYDAY 2 DLC arguably the weapons push toward pay to win, however they are balanced to fit with the stock guns additional map's and so on means payday 2 can be cheap to buy and you can keep paying for as much more content as you want

This video reminded me of a really interesting presentation done back in 2012 by a guy named Jared Psigoda who was CEO of a company called R2Games The presentation was about Chinese browser games, and how they makes tons of money off of whales I've played a couple of such games that were ported over for a Western audience and at one point found out that the top player on my server had spent $30k in a day, all because someone overtook him and he wanted to get rank one back The scary thing is that there is almost no practical limit as to what you can spend on these games Literally every feature of these games has a way in which you can spend money on it When I see monetisation in games by Western developers it all feels incredibly tame in comparison, though that still doesn't mean I like it

genshin impact is the best f2p, it's an single player experience, there's no pvp, and you don't need to spend real money to progress, and the free characters given are powerfull and well rounded enouth that you don't have to spend money, if you really want an character you can just grind for the gatcha, remember, you don't need the 5 stars to progress, it's an open world, with alot of story, and updates
