I lived in Neil Armstrong's hometown They have a Neil Armstrong Space Museum there It looks like a moon with a hill around it (I rolled down that hill on LSD) They had a Neil Armstrong festival every year, for a long time (I think they quit now) Anyways, not one time, has Neil Armstrong ever returned or participated in the celebration of his achievement It's almost like he felt guilty about lying

I can remember being woken up at 3am by my Parents and invited downstairs to watch the Moon Landing LIVE on UK TV along with my Brothers and Sisters I was later on the same day told by my School Headmast that the whole school had a chance to watch it LIVE or continnue with normal lessons and miss the event I told the Headmaster I had already seen it at 3am that morning but would still like to see it again My headmaster was annoyed with me, a mere Pupil would ever think to contradict him so I quoted the famous words "One small step for Man, one Giant Leap for Mankind" It was only after the broadcast finished that my Headmaster stood the whole school up in the hall and called me forward Nervously I walked forward and when I stood in front of the whole School the Headmast said " I am sorry I doubted you and yes you were right in the Quote of the First Words on the First Man on the Moon, but how could you know that when at the bottom of the TV screen can clearly be seen the words "LIVE FROM THE MOON" I simply answered that it must be a film recording of the same event I and my family watched at 3AM this morning" brbrIt was not until the late 1970s or early 1980s that we had our first home VCR, yet there we where in 1969 watching man land on the Moon some 6 hours previouslybrbrI often retuern to watch again and again but this is the first time I have shared my story from long ago Tony in England Aged 66yrs
