In a post era world you would absolutely barter in all kinds of metals which is why I try not to neglect stacking a wide variety of metals Comment from : Jared R |
I believe copper will become more valuable than silver in the future as resources become more scarce copper will shine bright Yes, by buying coins you are not investing in copper but the coins themselves I get my copper per 1 pound for $10 which is a solid price Copper has more use cases especially with society moving towards battery vehicles and such Stock up and stack up I love copper! Comment from : Jared R |

I love copper, but, like you, I would not confuse it with a precious metal Gonna try to make my own loafs of copper bars if I can collect enough Nice to see your stack! Comment from : Stax |
Just think 10 copper pennies back in the day would buy you a loaf of bread Poor people dive in raw sewage in places like Venezuela and Argentina in hopes of finding some copper or other metals just so they can cash in for food And if I'm doing the correct math 2,000 copper pennies could be exchanged for a $20 x 1 oz gold coin back in the early 1900's so it's massively undervalued in my opinion In fact copper didn't go unnoticed by the emperor's of Rome when he demanded merchants put his face on their copper to be used for trade Prior to his face being stamped on copper, it was just traded as a big chunk of metal for other goods and services I could certainly see it having some great trade value as we enter into a commodity based economy where metals (Russia demanding gold for oil) are now being traded for petroleum Comment from : ExtravagantFragrances |
curious, : if there's any economic severity & paper currency is shot or there's a technological attack on bitcoin or bank records would copper rounds, silver & gold fractions of an oz, be a reasonable thing to have on hand as tangible exchange for goods? not necessarily all the eggs in one basket but at least enough to function while things get back on track (?) Comment from : David Valenta |

The present 20 kroner coin in Denmark is 92 copper, 6 aluminium and 2 nickel Comment from : thomaspoulsen |

If for some reason the supply of copper becomes scarce, it will skyrocket Comment from : Jared Fogle |
Steel is a good metal fragrance too, very strong though Especially carbon steel Only when mixed with our skin oils though, otherwise it has no smell If you handle it in a lab with gloves and no oils mix with the surface corrosion products it is odourless Surely bullion is worth less than wire with copper? Copper wire has to conform to international or british standards so people should trust the wire form more I guess if you are prepared to wait to sell, intricate coins might be good But copper pipe, wire and warehouses seem to be the way as you say :0) Comment from : Peter Brown |
DON"T BE SILLY ! Comment from : brent lund |
Mark Hi I’ve just started stacking gold coins so I bought three 1/10 oz and one 1/4 oz and one oz Britannia having watched a lot of iTunbe videos now I think it’s better to just buy one oz Britannias better value for my outlay Comment from : marksm47 |
I believe you can store your wealth in Copper (Yes, the big Kilo+ bars are the cheaper and easiest method compared to Rounds)br- It is a necessary metalbr- Virtually never fakedbr- If you avoid coin shops and sell peer-to-peer, you can maintain the premium on which you bought it (proven to work on eBay and private sales) Comment from : Cyrus the Acceptable |
So now that penny on the ground is valuable? Comment from : Mel Allred |

This is the 3rd time I have watched one of your own opinion videos about Silver are you related to JP Morgan? Do you have a Silver jewellery shop and you need to suppress the price of Silver? Copper will never ever replace Silver I now think that you know this deep in your heart Silver is the most unique metal in the world Its has highest thermal conductivity than any other metal, it has the highest sunlight reflection (thats why industry uses it in solar panels and mirrors), it's the only metal that bacteria can not live on (that's why it's used in plasters, water filters, medicines and medical equipment), its has a better electric conductivity than copper Silver jewellery is waaaay stronger than gold Silver is King end of!!! That copper is really hard to work with and the quick tarnish effect is way faster than silver For thousands of years Silver and gold have been monetary metals, copper has never been monetary Silver price will go up! It more rarer than gold right now Technology is eating Silver up When this market manipulation is over you would have wished you understood about the physical properties of silver before making an outrageous comparison video 😆 And you do know that even if Silver was a $1000 an ounce it won't put that much value on an iPhone Probably an extra $15 the most per unit Don't cry about us Silverback apes WE ARE THE BANKS! Get ready! Comment from : You Tunnel |
It has become obvious from my relatively new stacking experience that all precious metals are not equal , stacking silver based on the myth that one day the undervalued silver will go up in value making a fortune for silver stackers is a no for me Copper will go down the silver route making money for Royal mint and HMRC with negative margins for stackers or just about break even after many years of holding I have no space for silver or Copper weight, in gold weight we trust Comment from : CK 888 |
There is so much copper out , it will never match silver or gold Comment from : GeneralAlex4 |
What do you mean copper is not an investment, if you invested a year ago and sold today, you doubled your money Copper is the best thing to sell to buy more tools I invest in tools You don't want shiny cubes or coins of copper, you want 55 gallon drum filled with stripped wire and copper cut offs It's more efficient as scrap because of no need to make it a coin Efficiency Comment from : Marc Rochefort |
Copper is a precious metal? I don’t believe copper will replace silver for a number of reasons It may be a good investment if you buy mining stocks but it doesn’t make sense to buy physical Comment from : matthew mcwherter |
Copper to silver is like platinum to goldI guessas long as copper is classified as a base, it will never overtake silver, but that can change Comment from : Hugo Stiglitz |

As far as I can see, the only real way to invest in physical copper is to fill up the garden shed with plumbing grade copper pipe At least in the US, plumbers will always need copper pipe It spot goes, up the retail price for copper pipe goes up Can sell to plumbers on local bulletin boards Comment from : Geoffrey Burks |
copper 2 and 1 pence is the way to go, pre 1992 coins, every time i get change the copper ones get put aside Comment from : Andy Walker |
For small time physical investors copper is not the choice it has the same issue as silver , too big and heavy and its mostly an industrial metal which limits it potential Some think that doubles its appeal but logically it can't if copper gets too high we go back to the dark ages literally no light no electricity, end of argument there really Comment from : Semi Numismatic Guy |
I have some copper and some titanium Comment from : Jay Jamison |

Chinese character on cube means copper "tóng", copper has been in big demand for a long time for it's industrial use I recall an incident where someone broke in to a phone exchange and stole all the copper wire to sell Not a bullion metal for me Comment from : Cscratchy |

One word “rust” Your investment could disappear just by the passage of time Comment from : Haibin22 |

The reason for the increase of the price in copper during COVID is that the main supply chains / countries have had issues with mining therefore scrap prices have shot up I weigh in all my copper & brass scrap to purchase Silver and Gold but I have a ton of copper stored as it’s only going up Comment from : Ryan Woodward |

Well copper has a long way to go It's prize per ounce is below $030, so 5 ounces of gold buys you 1effing metric ton of copper 1000kg! > 32,000 ounces! 😄 Comment from : Something Something Music |
I guess if silver ever goes to $100+ an ounce we could see copper as the next silver Comment from : Aloha Stacker |

Don't use sandpaper on copper, rub a little bit of olive oil on it and it will look really really good, as well as have a slight protective film on it even after you rinse it with cold water Comment from : Joseph Jones |

Copper is better stacked in a common usable profiles, pipes/tubes or conductorsbrHow many consumers of copper want to use ingots? Comment from : harryzero 156 |
I actually think silver will indeed be the goto precious metalbrIt will, become a AAA electronics commodity, and its value will be joined at the hip with copperbrAnyone convinced of future ratio of silver and gold returning to historical parity, will be sadly disappointed, if their stacking strategy is based on that beliefbrIm not saying that SOME currencies won't be backed by silver, like that of most of the world before Germany adopted a gold standardbrAt my stage in my life line, 10 - 1 ratio is appropriate, but if I were a working wealth earning person I would be storing my wealth at 40-50 to 1 Comment from : harryzero 156 |
With the electrification of everything, esp cars, it's good to also hold onto your aluminum and type 1 nickel, if you have any, and wait for the booms and mania to begin Comment from : Joseph Jones |
I love copper! Esp when you can find pounds of rolls of Canadian pennies for close to spot! I roll hunt often and trade the plated zinc pennies for what i see in give-a-penny take-a-penny trays haha i look weird but it makes profit Always scanning parking lots and sidewalks so my ammo can or 5oz rolls is filling up fast!
