Thanks for the vid I just purchased a 22 Ragley Big Al 20 Seriously couldn't beat the price at CRC Plus, I already have a fork, handlebars, stem and brakes to swap to it I've heard many good things about Ragley, so I'm looking forward to it Nonetheless, the move to 29er from 275 is gonna be so nice Comment from : Joshua Tzon for the Slaughter |
The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great wwwyoutubecom/post/UgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far) The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows The suspension connection takes up the entire thing So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase Comment from : Andy Jame |

Definitely interested in a 1000-2000 dollar range video It seems like the jump in better parts from a sub 1000 hardtail is pretty significant all while not breaking the 2000 mark Comment from : Chad Mowery |

I cannot for the life of me decide which bike I would like I got 2000 and would like to get a pretty good components frame isnt as important to me as I’m not a crazy rider yet I’ve been looking at Canyon stoic 4,giant fathom1,specialized fuse comp or sport, nukeproof comp ,commencal ride, to me fork an brakes are pretty important Comment from : Kieth pederson |
No Roscoe 9 ? Comment from : Ken Starr |
The commencal downside is the seat tube is too long, no thread BB, 😢 I had trek but due to the incident with Lance Armstrong I no longer even look at trek bikes Comment from : juan hidalgo |
I had a ragley marley for 3 years, was a great bike but as a taller rider 6ft3 I always felt like a bit of clown on it haha but it was very Sturdy!brbrJust got myself a big Al, and still getting used to the 29er, but overall its a much better fit and feels more stable, and 4 pot brakes that I never knew that I needed, stops so wellbrbrBig ragley fan, and the fact they will replace your frame if its breaks is a testament to how much confidence they have in their build quality! Comment from : hardtailharry |
Hi, I'm thinking about trek procaliber 98 & cannondale scalpel HT Comment from : Edvinas Giniotis |

So, where would you rank the Trek Roscoe 8? I’ve been super torn between that and the Specialized Fuse Comp 29 brThose two are locally available, but you’ve got me considering the Growler, Meta and San Quentin 🤯 Comment from : Hornet Outdoors & Tactical |
Dartmoor Hornet 2020 🔥 Comment from : MerxMercado27 |

I like the Commencal Meta but they only come in mullet for sizes S and M even though a 29 inch rear tire would fit…not sure why they did that Comment from : Aaron Smith |

CENTIMETER 03 cm brMAKES MORE SENSE 👍 Comment from : dara |

Great vid Fella 👍🏻 What are everybody's thoughts on a whyte 901 v4/v5 ? Any advive would be greatly appreciated ✌🏻 Comment from : Justin Turner |
As a heavier rider (pushing 280, 6'2") went with the new Surly Krampus - mostly due to the frame flexibility for larger tires, the feel of steel on the road, and the updated specs vs older models Its a beast and pretty heavy, but I can transition it to a Bikepacking bike if I get there and get a full sus as a second bike My only negative is the super short dropper tube Comment from : James Buster |
IS the Grand Canyon 7 2023 a good bike? Comment from : Glenn-lewis Bekaert |
my cube reaction gtc is getting old and a bit loose i'ts a hard tail with carbon fork at the front a very nervous bike with very impressive acceleration my first "good bike" brlooking for something more audacious that could take me anywhere I'd like but keeping it light and nervous just as my cube also I'm riding with 27'5 wheels don't know if i'm gonna like the change going to 29" since these last ones are more common to find I really like the alma m-pro but it's around 4000 bucks and my cube with all the upgrades done doesn't get to 1800€ and it has never ever let me down i've always ridden this thing like a wild horse and it has procured me so much good sensations you know ? fluid , fast , robust imagine spending so much to be dissapointed ?? so maybe your video can help bro !! Comment from : Bierzo élite |

Top 10 best hardtails of 2022 and you pick the Roscoe 8 as number one instead of Roscoe 9? Why not the nine? It's a better spec bike than 8 Other bikes on the list you picked the top spec versions, Roscoe 9 is a top spec version Roscoe Comment from : MM |
What do you think of the Ibis DV9? Comment from : treeskier802 |
Merida big trail?????? Comment from : Иван Петровский |
What do you think of the Ragley Marley? Was checking some current prices on CRC and saw the Marley 10, which looks to be identically spec'd to the Big Al you featured in the vid, currently going for $1230 The Big Al has gone down a bit as well, to around 1500 It usually seems like some pretty sweet bang for the buck going on with Ragleys but even more so right now Comment from : madcapper6 |
I just bought a marlin 6 after not riding for years, I never did any downhill riding or dirt jumping before I know I'll maybe get laughed at for this comment but it seems like good quality for money for what I need it for Comment from : Samantha Mackie |

So you get a direct to consumer brand, save some money cool Who is going to build the bike? Let me guess YouTube has that solved too How bout going to a shop and buying something that makes since for your area and what is practical and supports the things you love As far as I'm concerned basically the only bike on here is the salsa Psa internal routing can suck a fat one but hey you don't work on your bike do you? Comment from : Thekey111 |

Canyon Stoic 4 should certainly be on this list I was between the Canyon Stoic and Roscoe 8, but for $1499, I could not pass up the Stoic I originally paid $1999, but it went on sale three weeks later and they gave me the difference credit to my credit card, it posted in one day Now that is customer service The Roscoe 8 is currently $1999, a good price, but still over priced in my opinion Comment from : Bruce Koopman |
£2,000+ or $ you can keep it I found my bike for nothing & I am happy! With my (26-in rims) (21-speed) - Shimano' turbo bike🤣🤣😂😂 Comment from : jimmy Odriscoll |

That salsa is crazy Comment from : Ray |
Best hardtail you can ride is the one you build yourself, to your own spec brI’m riding a 29er Ti hardtail, 485mm reach, 635 deg head angle, 75 deg seat angle, 435mm chain stays, full Renthal cockpit, 160mm Fox 36 Factory Grip2 fork, Fox Factory Transfer dropper post 170mm, SRAM GX AXS groupset, Magura MT7 brakes on 180/200 rotors, Hope 35mm rims on Hope Pro4 hubs, Specialized Hillbilly / Butchers 26 tyres brCost me about the same as a top spec off-the-shelf alloy hardtail, but shreds harder than any of them Comment from : Paul Coone |
so happy that the marin san quentin is here I personally use the san quentin 1 (upgraded the handlebar and the seatpost to a dropper one) that's all and I just love the way it looks feels and shreds Comment from : elbyno |
