I have own two in two years Elastic worn out too easy One out of three time my cards fly away trying to get one card out Can’t used them on back pockets;too bulky Never liked how it feels in front of pocket in my pants Lost it several times Lucky me that found it every time Had to buy the AirTag clip but hate the annoying it looked with it Went back to a slim leather wallet

The only thing I wouldn't recommend buying from Ridge is the Cash Strap Option The Material is way cheaper than the Ridge Wallet itself and gets heavily scratched easily Mine is scratched so bad after not even 5 months

Here's a cheaper option: empty your wallet of coins and any other crap you accumulated and voila, you saved yourself $100 Your wallet may still be bigger than credit card but it's harder to lose and still fits in your pocket

Don't ever keep your wallet (or anything) in your back pockets (or at least don't habitually sit with stuff in your back pockets) It can actually induce unwanted curvature in your spine and lead to back problems

Great review My problem with these types of wallets is you need to fold the cash 3 times in order to get it onto the clip Polymer cash is awkward to fold multiple times, so I’ve never realistically considered this But got sick of / curious from seeing multiple sponsored bits in videos about this wallet

but does no one use coins? and why have a wallet when you have to keep your money outside your wallet? and like many of my cards are embossed and basicallu its like 80 euro for 2 metal plates with some rubber hold together with an elastic band? this feels like the best advertised scam online because it doesn't feel like its worth 80 euro so if you could hold one in the store you probably would not spend 80 euro

My dickies leather wallet was 18 bucks at walmart and I've had it for 10 plus years and it's still like new But was thinking about trying one of these, but that little quirk with embossed cards is putting me off and almost all of my cards are embossed

I've been using a clip since 2008 I've been hesitating for over a year to get the wallet I finally did it and it has been just 2 days and I have only 4 cards, it is not easy to get the cards out at all Even when I think it will get better I don't see that happening I probably end up returning the wallet since it is not easy to use at all

I feel like the forged carbon should be cheaper than the weaved carbon fiber and should fall inbetween the aluminum and weaved carbon fiber Forged carbon fiber is much easier and cheaper to produce since no heat is required to manufacture it unlike a traditional carbon fiber Hell, you could make your own plates if you 3d print the molds to press the chopped carbon fiber and resin inside

As an Indian, these metal wallets have been great for me as I am used carrying no bills and mostly pay using UPI, my wallet is just dead weight with the bill carrying pockets as I only need to carry my cards in it

Although the wallets look cool I find actual leather ones are just fine Not to mention that Ridge wallets are expensive as fuck for something that screams "you could make this yourself with some sheets of decent quality plastic/metal and a few screws" - If anything I'd rather have a card holder that held 2-3 cards and attached to a keychain if I wanted something more streamlined, otherwise I'm basically just losing functionality over a cheaper contempary wallet on the basis it looks fancy

This has to be the worst company ever Their customer service department is a complete joke! My forged ember carbon wallet literally broke within a week of ownership I have emailed them multiple times, sent DM’s and NO RESPONSE! I don’t even care about a refund just give me an exchange but nope they ignore all of my messages and I am completely pissed off If they do not answer I’m going to take legal action I recommend everyone to not support this business and I hope they will go broke and go out of business for their horrible service and products they carry

So, the three knock-offs cost less than a single ridge wallet and the only trade off is that you have to manually bend a clip and that the edges aren't as nice? My wallet is the exact opposite of the ridge wallet It's a completely hand-made, full grain leather "trucker style" wallet by Mr Lentz (the company/website) Not to sound like I'm advertising or anything, but I'm just really happy with it It's made with brass rivets and is the type of wallet that will literally last multiple lifetimes, especially if you take care of it It's a bit long and sticks out of your back pocket, but comes with a chain and looks good The entire wallet itself doesn't fold, so cash stays flat in it, and it doesn't get super thick with lots of cash That's just the trucker style wallet, though There are many other styles as well Prices vary, mine was only a bit more expensive than the ridge wallet, but it was well worth it You can even customize it

One of the most stupid designed wallet The only thing going for it is that its more compact Its harder to pull out credit card Harder to put back in, feels like your sitting on a brick half the time, can't hold coins, dollars will crinkle in both the money clip version and the strap version, and expensive as hell
