I got an osmo action It leaked out of the box would never seal upbrI got it to film underwater fishing salmon and such brWARNINGbrif you do not register it with the chinese spyware, it will brick you out after a few usesbrlucky to get 10 minutes filming if it is below freezing brstill using after 3 years, but it is barely hanging in there

tbh I still think the Hero 7 is the best used camera to buy for motovlogging I'm currently using the OneRS too but I'm not happy that the audio is mono only and at a low bit rate

I really like my original Osmo Action, but I think it lacks a remote control for use at the rear of the bike Regarding the sound I bought a microphone, cut a sponge into a 4x4x4cm square, made a hole that fitted the microphone and taped it to the back of my helmet to get the sound from the exhaust Working well below 80kmh😉😉

Still rocking my GoPro 2Lolit's a tank, No software issues, Basic 35mm Audio port, simplicity is king I don't record Often thoughso it works for me right now just average use Image quality is sort of a gimmick today, people need to understand you Can't get better than 4kyou cannot fit more pixels in a screen, it's impossible, nor can the human eye "see" better than that I believeso be careful when people advertise false claims about image quality getting bettercompanies will certainly try, and I'm sure people will fall for it

I use a GoPro hero 7 black and have for years now, experienced only 1 lock up so far, other than that, no issues (also use 3rd party batteries) I use it with a foam wind slayer and it's great for me Never wanted to spend $50 for the mic adapter but I don't care about recording my own speech so that is ok At lower speeds it even picks up my audio really well Perhaps the insta360 x3 will be my next one

Thanks for the video, I share all of your frustrations concerning the GoPro's I'm done with GoPro, the Insta360 will be my next set of cameras I'm not even concerned about recording with an external mic any longer, as I started using a Digital Recorder for my voice What I do need is a camera that will allow me to connect an external battery as I tend to run 4-5 cams on the bike continuously Is there a way to connect external power to the Insta360 cams? Looking at starting off with a Insta360 ONE RS

Thank you for the video! brbrIf I watched this some time ago, I could have saved a lot of hazzle I am just about to sell my GoPro 10 because it keeps breaking down (with it being in the MediaMod case means that I‘ll have to unscrew it, take it out, take the battery out, put it back in), at least 50 of my audio doesn‘t work as expected (I have 400 hours of VLOG from Scotland to cut but about 200hrs don’t have sound or I don’t understand what I was saying, so now I have to try to recall the content to be able to re-create my talking somehow - that’s some nerve wrecking extra effort) and all the other hazzle you described brbrI though about buying the One RS instead, now after your video I am sure to do exactly this! 👍😎brThank you!

Hello Mate from the UK Did you know that DJI have brought in firmware updates both, adding 10bit log &, more importantly, they've fixed the system's Achille's heal with adding -12 on volume, to fix the hot mic issue You could've also fixed this, using DJI's dedicated wireless system, which works seemlessly with the Action 3 & also takes it down to -12

I found a camera which is specifically designed to be used with all kinds of helmets (motorbike, horse riding, bicycle) The Techalogic DC1 Its one of those barrel tube cameras, but it has 1 big difference It has 2 cameras built into it, one for forwards, one for backwards It records both cameras in 1080p and as separate files, so you get video files for the front cam and videos files for the rear cam It only has a pinhole microphone built into the camera, so i use one of those cheap digital audio recorders used for taking dictation And run a little clip on mic to the inside of my helmet Works like a charm I get to record everything around me and i get to talk to the people in youtube land

I have an Akaso V50X and I'm overall very satisfied with the camera except for the sound:it's oversaturated even with an external mike It has a micro USB port I'm very interested in this external volume control cable Can't seem to find it Could you point me in the right direction please??
