Late post, but the words of wisdom I've learned so far (I'm still very knew), is to never take advice from someone if they haven't lived that advice themselves My father was terrified of me going into real estate investing My friends were supportive, but kept reminding me of how hard it would be if we went through with it None of them are investors NONE The people I listen to are three of my father's friends who are all real estate investors in different parts of real estate (single family, apartment complexes, commercial), and all three of them said "DO ITDO IT NOW!!!"
