Since citi got rid of the extended warranty perk, would it make more sense to use my venture X card along with the costco executive membership to get the same effective 4 back (even more if you use capital one points with a transfer partner) that way you're getting capital one's extended warranty protection? Hey Mark, great video! Any other credit cards you would recommend to shop at Costco or even Sam’s Club/BJ’s? I visit frequently to shop for my small business and have had the Business credit card from Costco paired with the executive membership for years However, I am shopping around to see if there are other cards that offer similar or better benefits that have a variety of methods to redeem rewards brbrMany cards say 2 or 3 back for “grocery” or “supermarkets”, but not sure which would qualify for Costco or the other warehouses Any help would be appreciated Thank you! Costco in NOT customer friendly 1) It’s the only store that makes me pay them before you can shop independently in their store 2) When you shop onsite in the warehouse, they don’t allow you look online to see if a product is available at that store You have to physically go there to find out 3) The products available at the warehouse may or may not be available online and vise verse 4) After you check out you stand in a line with your receipt in hand waiting for someone to inspect your cart BECAUSE THEY THINK YOU ARE A POTENTIAL SHOPLIFTER!!! 5) If you pay extra and increase your membership to the executive level, you’ll get a redemption certificate equal to 2 back at the end of the year that is only redeemable by carrying that certificate to a Costco warehouse (can’t be redeemed online) 6) Same is true for the Costco cash back credit card Comment from : Ronald Welk

The membership redemption once a year, is the real disadvantage in my opinion, while extended two year warranty is the biggest advantage unless purchasing some electronic item of big value, I would prefer to get (and use) Chase Freedom Unlimited which is 15x, and thus losing only 05x, but more convenience and no chance of losing credit history and cashback forfeited that is there with this card (if cancel Costco membership) Altitude reserve is surely a fantastic card Comment from : S G
